I liked the Halo Series.

I liked Final Fantasy XIII.

I liked the Force Unleashed II.

I liked Bioshock 2 more than I did Bioshock.

Kane and Lynch series, I got them both for a bargin though, but I loved them, the second one wasn't as good as the first, but for 5 dollars on a Steam sale, well worth my money.
(anyone affiliated with the Hitman series automatically has my attention).

I like:

-Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has been one of my favorite shows for quite some time
-Angel, Of course this comes with Buffy.
-MW2 and Blops and I didn't like CoD 4

And I absolutely despise, Nathan Fillion and Firefly. I don't know why but Nathan just irritates me and I also find Firefly an irritating show, I really don't see what the appeal is.

- Green Day. Everything except the abomination that is 21st Century Breakdown.
- Final Fantasy XIII. By all accounts I shouldn't have liked it, but I really enjoyed it.
- Metroid: Other M. Loved the gameplay. That took over any issues with a certain character in the game...
- Halo. Wasn't particularly fond of ODST, and didn't play CE or Halo 2, but I really like Halo 3 and Reach. They both have great campaigns, and the online is EXTREMELY fun in Reach. Also, Team SWAT taught me how to get a headshot.
- Little Fockers. Mind you, I don't think it was a great movie. I thought it was okay. That's still better than most people gave it credit for though.
- NHL games. I know people hate sports games, but EASHL is SO FUN. Defense matches my mindset so well too.
- The new Kanye West album is actually decent, and the song that samples 21st Century Schizoid Man uses the song exceptionally well and is a great song overall.

I have to agree with you on the Green Day front. Everything else but 21st Century Breakdown is good from them. When I saw them live Billy Joel played like 2 songs from that album and then just said, "We're gonna play our old stuff cause our new stuff is shit anyway", I've never heard so much cheering from a crowd at once haha.

On the Halo front you really should go back and play Halo 1 and 2, they are amazing. Granted that may just be my fond memories of them but I would recommend going back and playing them.

what are these star wars prequels everyone keeps talking about?

Oh, and I am proud to be a Halo and CoD fan, despite all the hate they get (particularly from this community...)

Oh, and the only two final fantasies (and really JRPGs in general) I liked were Tactics and 12.

Well, i'm also a huge BtVS fan as well as Angel, but i got more into the Angel show than i did th'Buffster...(my favorite season of either show was season 4 of Angel)...

I also find Nathon Fillion to be hilarious...but then again, strokes 'n' folks...what're y'gonna do?

Oh i loved th'pirates movies!!! Although i think i'm gonna end up in th'minority again due to th'fact that i couldn't stand the character of Jack Sparrow...i was firmly in th'camp of Will Turner...(so th'fact that he's not gonna be in th'next one kinda takes somethin' from me...but my girl's one of Depp's biggest fans so i know i'll see it anyway)..

I liked Push too...although that role just points out another reason why i'm still on th'fence about Chris Evans playin' Cap...he just seems too much of the "goofball" to pull off that serious of a character...but hey, i've been wrong before...

It's a shame because I really loved American Idiot. Like, a lot. Possibly moreso than Dookie. Whatsername is one of my favorite closers to an album ever. Then... 21st Century Breakdown. And that closer was the most generic piece of shit I've ever seen. I know the word "generic" is thrown around a lot, but that's literally what came to mind when I heard it. There were like three good songs, East Jesus Nowhere, Before the Lobotomy, and the title track. That's it. Not to mention that while people complained about political sentiment that was barely there in American Idiot, it was all over the place. It fucking spoiled it. [/rant]
And if Billie Joe said that, that is a godsend. Seriously, it may have made my day, although I remember seeing somewhere that he said the band was going "back to basics"... how far back I have no clue.

As for Halo, I'd love to. Maybe once I finish the Christmas pile of games.

-Ke$ha: actually, i'm not sure if this one counts...though i'm a metalhead and have been for a very long time

What!? a metalhead listing to this???
Man listen to some deathmetal and that will turn you into a man. And if someone says to you that metal is a bad genre of music in anyway, tell them that metal has produced some of the best bands in history in the music industry eg. Metallica and people dont understand that metal has many sub-genre's which those people probably listen to!

Alright then... I have nothing against beastiality or paedophiles themselves.
I don't agree personally with what their lifestyles, but at the same I feel sorry for the people having to live such a horrid, shunned, outcast existence.

To the guy who made this thread, what is up with saying "th'"? It doesn't make any sense to shorten a word that is only three letters long... =\
please read post #39...i really don't wanna repost all that again when that post pretty much covered it......

*edit*

ok...i somehow completely screwed this up....the post 39 refference was supposed to be toward Nannernade, not no oneder....i can't see how to salvage this post so please delete it from your minds *all jedi-hand-wavy*
Why don't you let it die already. You misquote me, and that's just annoying. You're just making yourself look worse, you know. I mean, everybody's just gonna feel sorry for you.

-The Star Wars Prequels: (my interest in the entire gorram saga was th'jedi order so forgive me for finding the trilogy that actually has more jedi in it appealing...)

-Smallville: This one's the funniest on my list because i'm such a hardcore anti-Superman/pro-Batman fan...yet i found the show all kinds of entertaining, especially the later seasons when they introduced Green Arrow who is INFINATELY more interesting than Clark...and side-note, Michael Rosenbaum is THE GREATEST ON-SCREEN LEX LUTHOR EVER!!!

-The Matrix Films (yes, all 3 of them): I'm so tired of all the people that rant about "Oh, the first one was great but the 2nd and 3rd were SO HORRIBLE!"

-Linkin Park (and yes, i'm including "Minutes to Midnight" and "A Thousand Suns"): True, they don't sound like they used to; true, they're gettin' pretty politically-heavy in their material, but it hasn't stopped from being good/original music!!!

-Ke$ha: actually, i'm not sure if this one counts...though i'm a metalhead and have been for a very long time, i do find one out of every (perhaps) 572 pop-songs catchy...i actually think most of what Kesha does is horrible, but for some reason one of her songs in particular i just find catchy...can't explain it, but there y'go...i've also managed to find a few good ones out of:
Star Wars/Jedi: I walked into the movies expecting lightsaber duels. None of the three disappointed. The Jedi Order, however, is practically the opposite of the Jedi Order of the original movies, so it was more like reading someone's fanfic. I know, I know, "how it was always intended," that excuse is so dry.

Still, as action movies with epic lightsaber battles, only the middle one came close to disappointing. And I liked Jar-Jar. He was far less stupid than the Ewoks.

Smallville: The first season or so was bleh. I watched it and almost never looked back. But you're right about Luthor. Plus, his characterisation made me feel Lex could go either way, rather than just being a mustache twirling bastard.

Ke-Dollar Sign-Ha: I like Tik-Tok. It's just an earworm. People who complain about the lyrical content need to listen more closely to other pop. Also, when she's not being autotuned, she has a decent singing voice. It seems it's a deliberate choice.
