Turn to the side and press myself against a wall until I realize its running towards me. Then I run like hell, scream, pick up the first heavy thing I see, and proceed to beat the ever loving shit out of it until either me or it stops moving.

I'd run like hell, of course. So would most of those people who are saying they'd fight it. The very few that would actually try to fight it would be dead in very short order.

I don't normally carry weapons on me, so that's right out. I'm not trained in martial arts, so I'd probably just fall on my ass if I tried to karate it to death.

Ah man, you're so hardcore. I especially like your sick fighting style, the "defensive position". I wish I was as believably man as you so I could use defensive position to fight off a few dozen thugs a year. Then I'd be able to show how tough I am by giving hardcore street fight advice based on my hardcore experience in the street. I'd run. That thing looks demonic and would probably be a lot tougher than it looks. I would try to slow it down by knocking over stuff but if it just plows through said stuff then I wouldn't waste time trying. If I get cornered I would attack and if that doesn't affect it I'll try to slip past by dodging the attacks.
