You can give one TV show an unlimited budget. What is it?

Sliders. If there's any show that would benefit from the way TV shows are made these days and the unlimited budget, it'd be Sliders.

Any CGI show, the problem with a CGI show is that the have to spend money on every character design which means you see less people on the screen making the backgrounds seem empty and desolute with an unlimited budget we can avoid this problem

Some of the best stuff comes from having to think creatively around financial limitations.

I'd like to see a live action Gundam series though, reckon that would need an unlimited budget. Actually film that shit in space y'all.

GoT? Nah. Doctor Who? Nah. Stargate? Not even.

Ladies and gentlemen, what is the one show in the world that should be brought back and given an unlimited budget?

There it is, there.

I would give it to Gargoyles. That showed ended prematurely with a P.O.S. third season because the original writers were thrown out the door. Give the money to the original writers, artists, and animators, and then we will have ourselves some good'ol Shakespearian-Fantasy-Cyberpunk drama again!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D would be pretty awesome with a decent effects budget so I would probably go for that.

I know you said 'currently running,' but I honestly don't think there's any TV shows out right now that I'd care to give unlimited funds. Either they don't need it, don't deserve it, or already have it.

Now, if we're talking new TV shows, I got 2 picks.

Pick 1 - Stargate: Homeworld Command. It would pick up after the final events of Atlantis, and deal primarily with the Milky Way galaxy (Though, with their Intergalactic Hyperdrives, they could go to Pegasus and Ida). it would focus on the ever growing fleet of Earth ships, and their interactions with the Lucian Alliance, the new Jaffa nation, and the the remaining Wraith (Plus other, newer threats). I always liked StarGate, and I always liked how they handled CGI and space battles. More money=more goodie.

Pick 2 - Imperium (A W40K Story) - A show that follows the exploits of an Imperial Army and its appointed Imperial Navy Fleet as they wage war across the stars against the enemies of the Emperor, occasionally crossing paths with the more exotic members of the Imperium (Inquisition, Space Marines who's armor is not colored ultramarine blue). Need I say more?

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but contractually obligate them to spend as much of it as possible and only on the show. Then watch them go Hearts Of Darkness style insane as the show slowly fills with ridiculous unnecessary, locations, stars and effects and each shot becomes a tortured mess of attempted perfect cinematography.

That or Danny DeVito quits and buys an island, which I think would be just as good.

The only currently running one I can think of is Agents of Shield for already mentioned reasons.
Otherwise, I would love to bring back some cancelled shows, if just to give them an actual conclusion.

Deadwood- I just watched the first season and I'm reluctant to watch the next two seasons knowing that it doesn't have an ending.

And then a bunch of cartoons...

Samurai Jack- make just one more short season or even a made-for-TV movie to end the series right.

Spectacular Spider-Man- IMO THE best Spider-Man cartoon ever. I think it was cancelled because of rights issues with Disney or something. Maybe an unlimited budget can fix that.

Sonic SATAM- a lot of great stuff has been done with the Archie comic series that I can think be adapted to a good series continuing where SATAM left off.

Beast Wars- Not to continue it, but I think it would be cool if the studio that animated Transformers Prime went in and redid the animation to this series entirely. Everything else can remain exactly the same, but now the out-dated animation is fixed up.

That show will inspire you... in the real way... ;)

OT: Currently running: Steven Universe (Sorry, Adventure Time... and "most" other CN shows, I guess...)
Cancelled show: "Most" of CN's cancelled shows... like Tower Prep, Thundercats, or Young Justice...
Could [have] happen[ed]: Lakewood Plaza Turbo, hands down!

Oh and just Live Action (general): Tower Prep (Seriously, it never got a chance for "some reason"...)

It's got to be Game of Thrones, not my favourite show but I can't imagine anything worse than my favourite shows losing their magic in the face of having to churn out more story they hadn't prepared for (we see it all the time). At least with GoT I know there is a tonne of good material they could use if only they had the dough.
