Guys stop hating on Twilight. You may not like it and we are not in the demographic and the movie is unenjoyable, but it isn't as bad - or as sadd, actually - as The Last Airbender. Because that had nice designs and visuals and all but fell totally flat on story etc.

Every chick flick ever made- why? because they're all the fucking same! The Notebook and A Walk to Remember and The Last Song are the same goddamn movie with different actors.

Twilight- I know everyone says that, but there's a reason, they fucking suck.

Citizen Kane- BORING.

Any french new wave film- My film teacher would literally show us nothing but those pretentious ass movies.

Matrix 2... that way there would be no Matrix 3...
see... I win both
Crap...ninja'd.

I'm seconding this because the fact is the original Matrix could stand on its own. There was no need for a followup of any kind. The world has been made...the charcters introduced...the plot established. Nothing more needed to be done.

I should also add Star Wars - The Phantom Menace to this list as well. My biggest gripe about this movie wasn't Jar-Jar, surprisingly. No...it was what was done to the Force. previously, we had this powerful energy that could be controlled that was omnipresent and everywhere...something rather transcendant in what would normally be a cold and dystopic future in the rule of the Empire. Then Phantom Menace came...

...and the discovery of the Force was due to what essentially amounted to a symbiotic parasite that exists in most everyone. *insert random facepalm image here* Thank you SO MUCH for taking something mysterious and transcendant and making it sound so clinical and unromantic now, Lucas...you DUMBASS!

Anything after Saw 1.

And...No Country For Old Men. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. It's boring, pretentious, and it shits over the near stellar careers of the Coen brothers.
It's averting the tendency of action movies to have explosions, soundtracks and love interests in bikinis. It's less visually appealing because of it, but it a bit more interesting and thought provoking. That said, it isn't perfect. If you want to reply, please give some more reasons you don't like it.

For me... One of those generic parody-porn films.
It's a frustrating movie, but that's the whole point. The focus was depicting a world where reason, order and notions of good and evil are completely extinct. Like Anton Chigur himself, all action and development seems to be down to the whims of chance. It's one of my favourite Coen Brothers films, next to Barton Fink. I love how every single line of dialogue exudes purpose.

For me, the new Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland. That movie makes me depressed. It didn't need to be made. We already had a dark, mature adaptation of Alice in the American McGee incarnation. Whose idea was it to attempt to apply plot and logic to Alice in Wonderland? It was just cannon fodder for the 3D fad. Also, Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. Why, Terry Gilliam? What the hell happened?

And people still call Scott Pilgrim vs The World hipster shit? I don't understand how a movie that takes the piss out of every hipster trend and uses it to comedic effect can be classified as hipster. It would be like calling Spaceballs a Star Wars rip-off. That was kinda' the point, guys. It's just a genuinely funny, well acted, well choreographed movie.

Avatar. Instead, I would like a movie that is exactly the same as Avatar in every way up until the third act where Ripley takes off and nukes the entire site from orbit.

... It's the only way to be sure.

Right, same scenario as the aforementioned thred only this time with films.

I would probably pick Terminator Salvation, the piece of shit ruined one of my favorate series of all time.

Hmm... How about "The Brady Bunch"? Not because it was a bad movie, necessarily, but just as it might be the best chance to head off the "let's turn old television shows into movies!" juggernaut, and if that succeeded, it would be a small price to pay.

I WOULD say 2001: A Space Odyssey because it was so boooooorrrrrrrrrriiiiiing, but I respect it too much as an example of stellar filmmaking (but awful storytelling).

Instead I'll go with... Batman Forever. Does the batsuit need nipples and a codpiece? The answer is NO. NO, goddammit, NO!

Wait, what was wrong with Indy 4?

It was no more implausible than the other films; alright, I'll give you that monkey scene because it was silly (nevermind believability), but if you have that much of a problem with the nuke-fridge, maybe you shouldn't be watching Indiana Jones to begin with.
I'm continually mystified by people complaining about the fridge, or "Aliens? What a cop out" (as if magic gold lightning boxes and healing cups are somehow more 'realistic'), and the other complaints about Indy 4.
