And you can read sexual innuendo into almost anything if you try hard enough.
This.

Do I remember I had so much fun with it and found it actually really calm and comforting that my mom just put one up in my room cause she got tired of me sitting by a door.. Like, no where near a wall, just stuck out of no where and if you werent careful you'd walk into it.

Though, i do feel sad for people who have door stops but not those kinda stops. I had a friend whose parents never used those and he had to play with mine when he came over. SO eventually we just installed one in his wall, like the one in my room.

Yes, of course I flicked them. Where does the guilt part come in? They made funny noises!
That's just me trying to be a bastard and make people feel awkward about the whole thing :p

Can honestly say I've never touched one. I think I've seen some before in the USA but I can't exactly remember.
You have missed out on hours of entertainment! :)

How old are the people who don't know what this is? Because I am 15, and I definitely recognised it straight away.

Oh yeah, and it WAS terribly fun!

I have totally flicked those things... and I am not ashamed or guilty in any way. If anything, I want to go find one and try it again!

Oh, yeah definitely. When you're being punished for something stupid by being made to sit in the corner, what better revenge than to mess with that t thing and annoy everybody else in the house.

Drove my mother crazy with 'em and was banned from touching them. I think it's part of the reason why we moved to a different house.

Yeah I used to do it until my mom blew a gasket and made me stop, it was especially fun with my cats around.

I used to sit in the car whenever my family went anywhere and pretend Sonic the Hedgehog was following behind the car, jumping from streetlamp to streetlamb, roof to roof, traffic light to traffic light, grinding on powerlines and the like. Ah, I was such an obsessive fangirl.
Who else did something similar to this! :D?

Holy crap, someone else!!! did the same thing the my tony hawk 3 skateboard avatar, i used to be a bit of a pro at it back in the day. But played way too much for about a year.

Also those door stopper things are hilarious, literally a perfect twang noise every time you flick it, good times.

Never had them.

And on the few occasions I'd go to someone's house who did have them I generally was too well mannered to play with them. Must be an American thing.

And to Captcha: Gdowne VIII sounds like some sort of long running Australian porn series.

Get it? HARD enough!

Hehe...

OT: I was wondering what exactly you suggested we did with that before your edit.

Yup. Did that as a kid, realized the sexual innuendo involved as a kid, and I still do it, on the off chance that I see one. Always with my boot, though.

Yeah I did it, although we never had any at my house there were some at my Nan's that i would flick if I was bored and wasn't jumping around on her patterned carpets. I would definately still flick one if I saw one now.

Why is that an innuendo? Yes, it's pointy and it vibrates! Well done!

Now, can we go back to the more important fact that it makes a funny noise?
