You ever liked a game that Yahtzee didn't?

What games does Yahtzee not like?
Umm. Games I liked that other people didn't like... Wet. Did he like Wet? That was good fun, silly QTE's and leaps of faith aside.
Whaaaat aboooout... the new Prince of Persia game? Running around was fun. Characters were poor and so was the story and the ending but the gameplay was jokes.

I watch his videos, but I don't know what he likes. I'm not his mother.

I could take any of my favorite games, nitpick them, throw in some cussing and metaphors involving genitalia, and end up with the same product that he produces on a weekly basis.

It's about reading between the lines in his reviews I have found that almost all of what he says is to be true, granted he tends to blow small things out of proportions but that's his shtick.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Yahtzee actually likes half the games he "reviews" but pulls them apart so most of the fantards squeal with glee every time he mutters the word "fuck".

Now don't get me wrong, the way he plays with words is quite amusing which is why I still watch ZP.

Now back to the topic: I like a few of the games he tore apart, namely Army of Two, Haze, Dead Space, Valkyria Chronicles, and Mirror's Edge. Yes you read that right. I actually like Haze.

I don't always agree with his stuff, but I do agree with most of it.

Super Smash Bros Brawl is the big one I love and he doesn't, but it's cool, so what if he don't like it, I still play it even because it ticked all my boxes.

With the exception of most of the things he said about EVE, I've had issues with just about every game both of us have played.

I still think he's funny though.

He doesnt seem to like too much and he overlooks many good points in games because he is too busy finding otherwise unnoticeable flaws. Sure he usually makes a good point to show why you might not like the game and he does it with a good sense of humor, but he's not a very good judge as far as the quality of the game as a whole.

Umm, whether you value his opinion or not does not distinguish whether or not he is reviewing the game. He is a reviewer because he does review the games. You may not like his reviews, but he definitely is reviewing them.

I don't take much of what he says to heart, because personally looking at the games negatives appears deliberate in his "Reviews". Like the Gears of War 2 Review, secretly enjoyed it and nit picked. We can all do the same to our favourite games. It's all a matter of how we look at games and how we prioritize certain criteria.

I loved SSBB and SC4, so yeah, I'd say I don't always agree with him. Then again, every word that has come out of his mouth about the Wii is so incredibly true that I'm willing to overlook his overhastiness to bash some of my favorite games.

Well, I rather like JRPGs, so that's already a lot.

Then there's Super smash bros. Brawl. He hated that.

And really, multiplayer games are something I really like, and he hates those...

So... I'm fairly certain I've yet to play a game that I liked and he also liked.

Any review Yahtzee has done on a game that i own or like has been a good review. Every other review is just entertaining. I dont have the time to know if i would like all those games. And even if he gave a poor review to a game i liked, i wouldnt care, because its all for entertainment and its his opinion, not the word of god (unless you wanna view it that way. in which case you should give up your brain.).

Yea, I love Brutal Legend like it was my fist thumb-sucking teddy bear, and he gave it a pretty good ribbing. There's been others, but I don't mind. It's pretty well acknowledged that, while he has good critical review skills, he only uses them for comedy. I imagine that's part of the reason he doesn't give anything a score rating, so people can't go around quoting him like "well I thought Brutal Legend was pretty good, but Yahtzee gave it a 4 out of 5 bollocks so it must kinda suck"
