You ever liked a game that Yahtzee didn't?

Yeah pretty much. Sometimes he'll make some good points but most of the time its just to make a joke out of it.

Thats another interesting thing about he's willing to point every flaw of a game even if he enjoys it.

I agree with him most of the time. Though there are some games he talks about that sound good and he rubs the games into the ground making me not want them. Which might be a good thing because if you buy a game for $60, you can return it for $12. He has saved me from wasting $60 before.

He's a critic and there isn't a single game in existence that merits a perfect score. Truth be told, gbadude3 said it exactly right: "Yahtzee is a true game reviewer, it's just that when itterpretting what he sais pay less attention to the bad things he says and pay more attention to the good things he sais."

Yahtzee makes a very brief mention about the good aspects of a game but places crucial importance on the areas where the game failed (see Batman Arkham Asylum). This isn't bad reviewing, it's brutal honesty. I'd rather hear someone talk about what was wrong than to simply listen to a review that gushes so hard they IGNORE the bad parts and give the game a perfect score anyway.

If you liked a game he didn't, that's perfectly fine. I happen to think Yahtzee is pretty dead on with most of his reviews (Halo 3, Peggle, GTAIV, etc), and I also disagree with him on some (I love Final Fantasy and Mass Effect).

Yahtzee is an entertainer, and a great one at that. It's his job to say funny things about games, and he's great at that. If those funny things are truly representative of their real flaws and merits remains to be seen.

Games I liked that Yahtzee didn't:
Fable, Mass Effect, GTA4, Oblivion, MGS4, Spore, Dead Space, Prince of Persia (new), RE5, Overlord 2

I have to say that Yahtzee has terrible taste in games, he however is a good comedian.

Yes, several. I have a completely different taste in games then him.

I couldn't care for Silent Hill.

I love Far Cry 2.

I don't like Prince of Persia. In fact I found the first dull.

GTA IV is much better then Saints Row, especially with the episodes.

And Mass Effect is one of the best RPGs I've ever played.

This is just the quick stuff also, I could disagree with the man on several other points.

Mass Effect, but I can't remember if he really hated that one.

Oh yeah, and Fable 2. All I can remember at the moment.

Super Smash Bros Brawl and Tales of Monkey Island are the two big ones that I really don't agree with him on.
