Metal, more precisely Melodic Death Metal.
Even more precisely, Soilwork and such:

Also, most rock from classic 50's-60's rock to newer rock like Airbourne:

I didn't expect to find fans over here, by my understandings SYL is not very well known, at least over here in Finland I only know a couple of guys who listen to it. It's really awesome band, too bad they quit few years back
Alien is a pretty bad ass album. Townsend is still making music though, on his own.
Yup, he's a genius when it comes to music. Very versatile production

Metal is probably the most consistently enjoyed genre for me. Other genres I enjoy... Punk, Goth, and... that's it. Rock is average sometimes.... -_-'

Rock leaning more to the Progressive, Post or Alternative spectrum. My favourite bands are Radiohead, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and King Crimson so go figure. I also like all kinds of things from Post-Hardcore to Electronic.

My genius say I like sixties psychedelic Rock, and contemporary folk. I also like alterative hip hop-ish for modern stuff.

Swedish melodic death metal (In Flames, Soilwork & the like)

And to a lesser extent, progressive rock/metal (Tool & such)

Heavy metal (Mostly black metal), darkwave, opera, and classical.

Though I'll listen to anything and everything without hesitation, as long as it isn't horribly done or overly cheerful pop.
