Get banned.

Fight the system, man.
There's an interesting thought. What happens when you get banned from dreams?
You will NEVER dream again!

Dun Dun DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!
I was thinking more "Do you get an error message?"

Although dramatic music fits.
Well, if you ever get that, then you would be better off calling the Dream IT Department...

"Hello. Dream IT Department... Have you tried turning your brain off then back on again?"

I'd probably find out after killing the same kind of things in my dreams over hundreds of times.

My first step would be to find out how useless my stats are and then look at specializing in sword smithing or something.

A question I see as obvious incoming, how would I discover this? Suspend your disbelief for one, but lets say you met someone, or ended up in a place you saw in a dream that clued you in.

So, yeah, you found out somehow that dreams are all interconnected in a sort of mmo manner, and the locations also exist. I made this thread after a few vivid dreams. So how do you react?
I think I would react by reenacting HP Lovecraft's The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath. Try to find Nyarlathotep and attempt to defeat the horror in a battle of wits.

I really have to stop eating sugar and caffeine before goin to sleep... or at all
Did you ever played recently a game from Ultima series?
At Ultima 8, the Avatar kill a bunch of children for his quest.

lol,

"Okay guys is everyone ready to start playing D&D?"
"yeah, the DM already fell asleep an hour ago to get the world set up, lets head to bed"

This would be every single night for me.

I would start getting friends together and testing stuff. Establishing the reality of the place and whether it persists or is recreated each time we enter it. I'd try and convince (probably pretty easy to do, if the fact is widely known) to have people inside MRI machines while in the DMMO, to see what part of our brain is triggering it/effected by it. I'd see if it was possible to actually harm people (mental or emotional) or not via interaction in this DMMO.

I'd get really giddy and goof off too, probably find out a way to give my avatar permanent flight abilities and earth bending. Then, to be perfectly honest, if it turned out that harming others was possible, I'd probably start acting like a dream super hero and be a Slumber Guardian or something.

If it couldn't hurt others, I'd just goof off and have fun doing whatever I could.

Locate trolls from actual MMOs. Demonstrate to them that I have figured out the whole lucid dreaming thing and am far more horrific here than they could ever conceive of. At least until The Rogue Wolf finds me.

Or just invite them back to the only place my dreams take place, that likes to throw physics and basic geometry the finger, see if I can get them to go in the white room with the statue and use the bizarreness of the rooms geometry to fuck with them (It appears to be circular, about 20' diameter. It doesn't fit together right though, like someone got bored and decided that π should be a much, much, much larger number. So it's actually about 20 feet across, but the circumference along that outer edge is incredibly long, but it doesn't look like it. You keep walking and walking and walking along the outside but you never really get anywhere. Damned brain and wanting to break geometry.).

I'd make myself invisible, and find a way to muffle every sound and smell, so that I effectively wouldn't exist. Then I'd slowly wander through the dream-world, tampering with others' dreams like the almighty hand of God.

My dreams are usually pretty nightmarish and existential.

But I'd probably just sleep forever, since it would be possible to interact with all other people, but much better, as we'd all be unbound by the party-pooping laws of physics. You'd be able to change your appearance and gender, build entire worlds in the blink of an eye, and explore the limitless possibilities that dreams allow, then have sex with beautiful strangers, free of the risk of disease or pregnancy. All while your friends and loved ones are close-by.

Seriously, why bother waking up if life in dreams is better in every way? Sadly, there's no way to extend the amount of time you spend sleeping, and sedative hypnotics tend to obstruct natural, REM sleep.

I'd want to find out who the ************ from my recurring nightmares is, then find some way to avoid him forever.

Seriously, fuck that dude. The number of times he made me wake up screaming...

Laugh, because I'm good at MMO's. I'd eventually work myself in the top brass of a guild and in time become one of the coolest people in the Dreamscape.

And then I'd start spending barely any time awake.

You dream every night. You just barely remember them.
