Ditto. Replying to a message as soon as you can shows that you respect the users here, IMO. Plus, it's hard to ignore the alert too, it's red and flashing and everything.

Zero it's very rare that I get messaged for any reason *sigh*

I'm guessing because you mostly lurk, right? Start posting more and the quote alerts will just flood in.

Well I have zero at the moment. The only time I don't read or answer right away is if I see a message or messages come in and I am just too tired because I'm about to go to bed.

There was one time I was really lazy for a few days and just didn't want to deal with messages. I think my count only built up to 4 or 5 messages.

I'd probably get 200 or more a day, if I didn't turn off the User Group notification that sends me a message every time somebody says something new in the user groups I am in. Only important user group news posts and replies to my chat comments from me.

That's why I post in the religion and politics forum, you get quoted a lot when you bring something new or good to the discussion, you also get quoted for saying stupid bullshit.

No, I didn't mean that I didn't ever look at messages. I was just stating what I guess some users do, not look at and not answer messages.

You were probably just agreeing with me on what I guessed. But sometimes with how people word things, it sometimes confuses me. As an English graduate, I tend to see order problems and with such things it is hard to figure out the actual order of which statement was replying to which parts of my comment.

Though, it could also be that I need get some sleep.

yep it's because I use the browser on my PS3 so typing actually takes quite a long time lol.
