If I see a clip of him bellowing over logic and reason with snappy sayings and pulling on the heartstrings while addressing 'America' as if it was a child of his rather than a large population of individuals with differing opinions, well my pulse sky-rockets for an instant.

I think you're talking about Gitmo, right? And if so, I'll just play devil's advocate and say that it really wasn't his fault. From what I've gathered, he ran into some serious legal issues dealing with the host country, previous agreements between the two countries, and things like that. He did go in intending to close it, but he really just couldn't. Doesn't mean that's alright, and they should be closed ASAP, but as it stands, it doesn't appear to be very P. Well, at least that's the grasp of the situation I've gathered.
