You know you've played too much TF2 when you are at a store and you read 'sandwich' as 'sandvich'

You played too much Resident Evil 4 when:

-You kick someone you've just shot in the head.
-Your first guess when you don't remember a girl's name is "Ashley." (Guilty as charged!)
-You think time stops when you heal and switch weapons.
-You get a job as a cashier just so you could ask "What're ya buyin'?"
-Your first guess when guessing a short person's age is 20.
-People with abnormal breathing send chills down your spine.

You play too much Legend of Zelda if people are warned not to say "Hey! Listen!" around you.

You play too much games in general if you hear the "Achievement" sound every time you do something noteworthy.

When random TV programming makes you hear 8-bit coin sounds and other assorted bleeps for no apparent reason.

Your girlfriend has grown to ignore it completely when you're next to her roaring about lag and knifers.
You know you play too much Final Fantasy XIV when you dump your girlfriend for someone in-game who lives on the other side of the globe.

Needless to say, I've had a bad week.
A little extreme maybe, but perhaps it's understandable? Was the previous girlfriend against your gaming? Sometimes we can have more of a connection with people who understand and support our hobbies, interests and things that make us happy!
Um, I was the girlfriend.

I supported his gaming, since I play a lot of video games myself. I guess I should have said something once he let MMOs take over pretty much every waking hour of his day but I didn't want to seem like a nag. My mistake.

(And no I couldn't have played it too, I didn't have any computer that could handle that game.)

you search every thing for bottle caps

You know you've been playing too much Fire Emblem when you close your eyes to see little characters moving around in lit up squares. Sadly, this has happened to me on multiple occasions, starting at age 13. I was an addict.

You know you play too much Zelda when you think eating hearts will give you life.
You know you play too much when a real life liquid reminds you of a potion/elixir/flask/etc. more than the actual substance (although, drinking fruit punch that you think is red potion from Zelda, is more satisfying)

Mother fucking Fire Emblem!
I had a 8 month addiction to the first GBA one.
I beat it on every difficulty, got every character to lvl 20 x2, and got everyone's "relationships" to max.
Whenever I play any Fire Emblem now, the music will ring in my ears for a couple hours afterwards.

You know you play too much Fire Emblem when, you can hear the music that plays while you are taking your turn, in real life...

You know you play COD too much when,
Every time you see a ledge you check it for snipers...
You try and knife that random person that turned the corner as you did...
You yell, "Stop hogging my window" when someone is over your shoulder.

You know you play Madden too much when,
You chuckle during a real game and say, "You ran the slant route wrong."
Get so aggravated that the offense on TV didn't audible when the blitz was coming.
Your online franchise makes it 10 years.

you soundwhore IRL =(

After playing CoD with friends for too long, I always find myself jumping to conclusions when I hear sounds.
Someone walking down stairs, picking something up, dropping something, pretty much any action, makes me subconsciously think "ok, that part of house, they'll come from this spot or this spot, I'll camp here".

You know you play too much CoD/zombie games when, you walk in a room and scan the area for hiding spots for you/others, and weapons...

Aww :( this upset me. I feel for you, dude.

OT: You play too much GTA when you think the cops coming up behind you while driving are after you, and it makes you jump so you stamp on the accelerator rather than pulling over, andit feels weirdly routine to be speeding away from the police. I did this yesterday. Luckily, I realised that what I was doing was monumentally idiotic pretty quickly and pulled over violently and clumsily. He wasnt after me. Phew.

You play to mutch AC: Brotherhood when you suspect anyone around you to stab you in the back.

You know you've played too much Heroes of Newerth when you feel uneasy being in the woods without wards, because the animals of the forests might be setting up a gank.

Oh do not get me started on character creations. I must have heard "What about Shepard?" thirty times this week when I created a new Femshep. I am extremely picky about my design choices when given control. :D

You know you've played to much Assassin's Creed when you scout out climbing routes on all of the buildings you pass by.

You know you're playing to much Black Ops when the tips of your thumbs are sore :/
