Well the easy choice would be to take pre-heresy emperor and 6 primarchs from warhammer 40K universe. But that would be to easy.
But game characters would be.
Commander shepard: For brilliant tactics + he got a nice ship that would come in handy.
Kratos, we want a melee monster to jump in and cause chaos.
Duke nukem, number 1 alien killer.
Master cheif, number 2 alien killer.
Ryu hayabusa, another melee monster but needed for possible required stealth.
Gordon Freeman, the teams scientist who can adapt alien technologi AND handle himself more then enough in a fire fight.
The medic from team fortress 2, my boys aint got time to bleed so he can heal them on the move.
But game characters would be.

If there's really no room on the ship (or TARDIS), then throw out Tali because she and Legion basically do the same thing and at least Legion has more durable armor, no immune system to worry about, and if the platform fails, at least all 1000+ active programs can upload themselves into my cellphone or something.
