Fix my life at that point. That would be such a blessing.
I would use this approach. I would get in shape, actually work up the nerve to ask that girl out, who knows my life could be completely different.

Well, I'm assuming I would have the guitar skills I have now, so that would be cool. I would also know that in the future I get cancer, so I can go to the doctor and get them to watch me so I can possibly prevent it. I would also go to all the concerts that I missed during that time, including the last Nine Inch Nails concerts.

I would also pretty much get a redo of indoor drumline, which would be cool since that was fun. My band director decided we weren't doing it anymore...which is fine because I can't do it this year anyway but it still kinda sucks...

Y'know what? Bump that date back about 4 more months so's I can not fuck things up with the love of my life, and I've got all I need there. The only massive, life changing positives that happened to me in the last 2 years were a)becoming a dad and b)being accepted into the same acting school that taught my idol, so let me get back with the girl I want to be with and I can pick it up from there. We'll even have a kid of our own to appease the space-time continuum gods.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Having to do all the school work, not to mention the possibility that I may not meet my current crush, or if those two years were all a dream I'd have worse knowledge than wikipedia.
So generally just FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Probably make myself play more harmonica more often.

Also, slap myself silly and get it through my thick skull that that one girl won't be worth it 2 years from now.

I need to pay attention to lottery numbers just in case this happens to me. So I can literally win the lottery.

Tonight you go to sleep and wake up on January 18th, 2009. You remember everything from the future, but have taken over the body of yourself on that morning. What would you do?
I would...cry. Because of all the horrible events coming my way in 2009, and how my heart would have to break a second time to lose certain people in my life. I would know of how my future turns out with the woman I love now, but I would have to relive all the pain again, and I'm not sure I could do that twice. :/
But think how many more great people you know who can help you get through it :)

I am not saying that makes up for it. I am just saying it could be a silver lining >.>

I'd be pissed right off, the last 2 years of my life have been nothing but saving up money to afford to go back to school. Simply going back 2 years would be a nightmare unless I happened to remember any details that would be useful (winning teams, lottery, etc..) which I don't.

For one, I would prevent the worst thing that has ever happened to me from occurring, which would then mess up the time-line, and all that good stuff. But mostly that. Oh, and be incredibly bored because I didn't get my XBOX until after my birthday in April that year. But be excited because I know I'm getting an XBOX. So would I be incredibly depressed knowing my life would change forever that summer, or be incredibly depressed that I don't have an XBOX...but on the plus side, I would be the best MW2 player on live my first day playing it =P

Not screw up my public international law exam. Start my undergrad dissertation earlier. Get it done before Christmas. Probably fail to do that. But most importantly, find an internship the next summer, then plan ahead and find a job before I graduate from college. Goddamit, there are so many things I would do over.

Of course, that would also mean never sinking a huge amount of time into Fallout 3, Mass Effect 2, and Dragon Age Origins. Ahhhhhh, choices.

Yeah, like others I'd bet on a bunch of sports games (I don't remember any winning lottery numbers other then the one that is very close to the number on "lost"...and that wouldn't happen for 2 years!!).

I would need the money.

Why?

Two years with no new games? Two freaking more years till Diablo 3 comes out? Talk about being bummed. I'd need serious cash to keep myself occupied for 2 years (I mean there are quite a few games I have not played and have backlogged so it wouldn't be torture....but still not a great thing).

If I got enough money perhaps I could donate a ton to Blizzard and ask them to pay more people to work on Diablo 3 and speed up how fast it gets released (maybe even get them to allow me to playtest it as well).

Other then that I'd try to warn areas that are going to have large scale disasters and tell all my friends to sell their homes asap etc (actually not sure if I would be in time for that).

I would also stop at getting my Bachelors degree. I've spent the last 2 years working on my masters and am just about to get it....and there is no FREAKING way I'm doing all that work again. I'd just get mega rich and use all my money to help prevent so many people losing their homes etc (probably giving them loans etc so they can pay their mortgages etc). With the knowledge I have I should be able to become richer then Bill Gates eventually and I'd spread that around....that might keep me occupied enough to not kill myself over the longer wait for D3.

Learn to study or learn more Spanish. I have a Spanish test tomorrow and am going to fail since I don't understand Spanish 4 anymore.

I would feel obligated to stop world tragedies, yet be stalled by my poor recollection of future current events. I would try as hard as I can to get relief for the Haiti disaster, but I doubt anyone would listen to me...

I'd change so much about my life....God, If I could go back....
I'd willingly deal with High School Calc all over again.

'sigh'

Oh and not buy ME2 until much later, knowing how disappointed I was...

Firstly, I would be very pissed that I have to relive freshman year. Then, I would start my deviant art account earlier, buy that art book earlier, and start on that webcomic I want to make earlier. Basically, I would just do everything I'm doing now, but earlier.

I would make bets. Lots of them. Super Bowls, World Series, Stanley Cups, I would bet them all. I would be rich as all hell and be damn proud of it.

Well, 2009 was the worst year of my life so far, so I'd do a LOT of things. I'd change majors, firstly, because doing that in senior year probably isn't as bad as having to reapply to school again as I am. Seriously, the only major that I can think of that's a bigger scam than English is Religion, as far as getting a job is concerned. I'm not sure what I'd do with my gf at the time - I'd probably break things off before they got as bad as they did, and continue with my vendetta against the guy who stole her from me even if I don't want her back. And I'd probably drink more. :p

Only two years huh? I think I would cut more classes and teach myself the stuff I need to know for university now. My grades could suffer the damage, and it was a lot of time wasted. I think I would like to go out a bit more to Amsterdam. After half a year I would have moved there, and I think I wouldn't chance much for the rest of it. I'm pretty happy right now :D
Though I would spend more time with the American exchange students, I became good friends with those, but we could have had more fun.
If I could live again with everything I knew then things would be different. I would be very rebellious and only accept authority from a very small group of people. I would learn more about the things that interest me, and less about the things that don't. I would also be more social and confident, like I'm now. I would often run away from my parents house. Not because I was unhappy, but because I don't want to live my whole childhood in that boring place again. Things like that.

I'd get myself in shape ... really, really good shape. And I'd probably just abuse it to know all my reading and topic material for my assignments. I mean, I wouldn't do it all that better, I'd just not have to put so much effort into it (also, when I had to debate my teachers to be able to do a topic, I'll know what to expect and just skip to the end, maybe throw in a few mentions that I'm from the future or something. Though, in truth, I'll try to alter the future as minimally as possible, because there are a few people I care for very deeply and I'd hate to screw up all the good work they did over the past two years, especially how much they improved themselves.

So yeah, make a few changes for the sake of simplicity, but other than that I'd maintain my silence for the sake of those I care about.
