Do remember that it's pretty much impossible to determine for sure.
You might've posted in a thread that's now been deleted, so it won't show in your history.
You might've posted in a usergroup, which also won't show in your history (post history at least).

I think I just found mine. Just go to your posting history, and start at the back.

There's 15 posts on each history page, so 1000/15 = 66 pages forward and 10 posts up.

Yes it is. "The View" is on ABC and was doing good ratings wise, so CBS wanted in on the cash and made their own version of the show.

That's still only a rough estimate though.

If you posted in a thread that is now deleted, before you hit 1k posts, your post history will be 'out of kilter', and not show an exactly accurate representation of each post as you made it.

And if we're going by the post count number as it's shown on forum posts, posting in a group before you hit 1k posts, will also 'offset' your post history (because post histories don't show group posts), so it will be inaccurate.

The reason I like 4chan so much is that the Mods actually know what they're supposed to be doing.

Unlike some other websites that are The Escapist.

And if I get banned for this post my point will have been proven.

But if any mods look at this. I just want to make it clear that this is not my opinion any more.
The mods are all exemplar human beings. Neigh godlike in my humble but accurate opinion.
If I were to simply gaze upon the sole of an Escapist moderator's foot I feel as though I would reach enlightenment and gain true inner peace. Sadly for me that would never happen, because I would be too busy kissing that foot to ever dream of using it for selfish gain.

Anyway, being close to 40k I remember when I first hit 1k it was still impressive. Heck back then I think that 20k was the highest post count at the time when I hit 1k posts. Can't remember, but it was a long time ago.

Post count lost its meaning when forum games and usergroups became a thing.
For my 1k I made a celebratory thread. I think it was in 09.

Hello past me. It's present me calling. This is your 1000th post, be grateful I guess.

So yeah... my first 1000 posts are done. I feel the same, the Queen hasn't sent me a letter of congratulations yet and my bank account is still the same so I guess it's not as great as it was hyped up to be (thanks interwebians!). Time to start chipping away at the next 1000 I guess, maybe it's better over in the pastures of 2000-dom.
