I'm pretty sure I'm 99% Vietnamese. I think I may be related to the Vietnamese royal court too.

I'm about 3/8 German, I know that. I'm also part Irish and Welsh (and perhaps some English and Scottish for all I know). And I'm about 1/4 Amish if you'd consider that its own ethnic group (I know I would).

I have a little bit from almost every European country. Most of my family on my dad's side came from Scotland.

On my Mom's side, I'm French Canadian.

My family has been in the US for about 200 years or so.

i am French, dutch and English, mix them together and what do you get?
English....the English all come from Germany France and The Netherlands.
Personally I think it doeesn't matter where you come from, what matters is how you treat people. OT I'm Cymry, if I was born during the middle ages...I'd probably lead a rebellion against England and reclaim Britain for the true britsh and teach all those delightful racists a lesson. :)
sure some but there all quite different, its like saying the french all came from england and the Netherlands, if you go far back enough there really isn't much of a difference from cymry/welsh and British.

I'm Irish, and I've traced it back quite a few centuries, I'm essentially 95% Irish Gaelic, and 5% Scots Gaelic. I'm actually directly descended from the O'Neills and the O'Rourkes, two clans that were both high kings of Ireland for quite some time.

So, not much travel going on in my family, but it's nice to know where you come from.

As for your question, China. They were very innovative at that point.

I am a direct descendant from Karl Knutsson Bonde, one of the early kings of Sweden...so yeah.
There are two noble titles that I won't get because my grandparents have certain sexes =S

Im Kiwi with Irish with a bit of Spanish from the armada, Scottish and German blood in my veins and I am distantly related to William Wallace, so im guessing I would have been born in scotland.

On my mom's side, I'm Basque. On my dad's side, I'm Basque. And there are no legendary heroes or kings or conquerors in my family. Just a happy lot of Basques. Yay for humble origins! (oh and there are some italians thrown in and about there, but still, think Basque)
