My nights out usually entail going somewhere to do something (movies, ice skating, laser tag...)with friends and then leaving that somewhere to walk around town for hours. And we almost always end up at a Steak N Shake to counteract all that healthy walking.

My typical Friday and Saturday nights include WAITING for my flat mates to all go out so I can have the place to myself to make as much noise as possible. I always try and entice people to come round and play old school games etc but rarely have any success with it, no one here is really interested in anything that doesn't involve deafeningly bad pop or techno and drunken dancing. Magic the gathering is always fun but again not many opportunities these days. I personally don't really like anything about the whole 'clubbing' scene.
My nights "out" usually consist of me and my 3 best friends finding some movie to watch usually really bad ones we just like to riff on. (Which i recommend anyone who wants to see something insanely life changing check out Tommy Wiseau's "The Room").
Than sitting around brainstorming and writing scripts for side projects I work on for my Reel.
That and playing video games with people.

When I do go out, it's usually to a bar or something. There's a lot of room for variation there. I don't do clubs, though. This is then sometimes followed by a trip back to someone's house, a drunken attempt at watching a movie, and then a slow saunter home. Mind you, all of this is if I can even afford to go out, and/or if anyone's even doing anything that night. The nights I just described are few and far between. The last couple times I've been out were to a friend's house to watch the baseball game, sans alcohol.
I used to go out a lot more to stupid (and cheap!) hipster clubs, but I moved out of the city. Now it's rum+coke+(tf2/l4d2)+microphone+ friends.
Well, let's just say I usually wake up most Saturday mornings with a tattoo, several women I don't know, and some barnyard animal sleeping next to the bed, and I have no idea how I got any of those. And I really don't want to.
My nights out consist of me going to my friend's house; sitting in his basement drinking Mountain Dew; discussing movies, comic books, games, and Doctor Who; and playing video games.

I get mildly stoned on chronic and play Halo 3 with my mates. Good times, only situations where I ever enjoy Halo 3.
Edit: Oh yes, and I used to do a bit of D&D on the side. Naturally being baked improves the experience (then again the same is true for all experiences.)

Pour moi (for me) It usually entails getting drunk on pre-drinks with flatmates, going out to town to various pubs, then hitting clubs when everyone is sufficiently drunk. At said clubs we all pretend to have fun, I get some kisses, talk to some fit drunk girls, fail to get off with them, get a taxi home with mates, then smoke spliff until we all pass out or go to our beds.
So yeah, my nights out are generally fun, but severely lacking in certain areas. Hows about you guys and gals? What do you get up to? What kind of places do you visit? Basically I wanna see who on this site has some kind of social/night life, and what it consists of.
Ya'all can discuss what you think of going out clubbing/ pubbing, the pros and cons of such activities, and how much enjoyment you can glean from a night out.

Now all I do is hang out at the local pub with a couple of close friends... God I miss getting pissed drunk and waking up with the worst hangover ever. Oh well life changes and you grow up I guess.
Well, I have not yet reached majority age. That's going to change soon, but for now, I really don't do much on weekends. I just watched Iron Man 2 with my Dad...

Well pretty much just drink with friends at random places in the desert. Make a fire sometimes if were in the mood.
I will rarely go clubbing and to bars or whatever I can in Mexico! haha so when we do go its okay but for me a couple hours in Mexico go a long way! Always try and hit on girls although my Spanish is horrible they think its cute and yea I have a fairly fun time.
But nothing beats a night out around a fire and drinks with your friends talking about random things.

Normally, it's nothing to extraordinary. I head over to my friend's place, we play video games until his girl gets off of work, then we head over to our other friend's house 5 minutes away where everyone else is. So it's like 6-12 people all getting wasted together having a grand ole' time. Other times we go to a local bar or go downtown to a club.
But not that baseball season has started, my saturday nights have to end early. Damn games sometimes start at like 7am sunday mornings. It really cuts into my attempts at getting laid. Oh well.

Lately Wii Sports Resort (usually bowling or archery) has been a mainstay, though at some point we inevitably get too distracted for video games and end up ranting about random shit and listening to music.
When I do go to a show, on the rare occasion anyone good is playing, it's pretty much the same thing, just after the show. And chug a few beers before the show so we won't waste as much money getting drunk there. Bars are freaking expensive.
No drugs (well, OK, maybe a little pot once in a while, but no "hard" drugs) or crazy sex stuff or anything, though, just good ol' Red-Blooded-American binge drinking. And usually, no food, but occasionally we might throw a couple of quesadillas together or something.
