Your Best Friend

We all have one, and I want you to tell me about yours. Maybe you've been friends since kids or whatever.
My best friend is an idiot who trusts me to the point where he takes whatever I say as the truth. We hang out a lot, complaining about school or how stupid people can be. Good times are had. We go to school together and I even go against myself sometimes to meet up with em on Xbox Live. He needs to learn to keep his rifle up though..(airsoft)
How'd you meet? What do you and yer mate like to do?

Hmmm... that is a tough one.
Well, he is a pretty cool guy, likes to game, plays guitar, he is a troll, very smart computer power user, network specialist, wannabe whitecollar hacker. Overall, pretty cool, we hangout alot.
As for how we met, I really don't know how it happened... I have no idea. All of a sudden we were buds. Weird. I must ponder this.

I used to have one. Best friend for a damned long time. Even when I moved away to Wisconsin, we stayed friends. Then he got obsessed with Dodgeball ( Which is great, but after a while of nothing but dodgeball, it's not so fun.)

Eventually, I just decided to stop going to his house. No more of that friendship, oh well.

She's fairly awesome only known her 5 or 6 years at this point we are both in fairly serious relationships now so we dont see each other as often as we would like but we talk all the time on the phone, dont know what I would do with out her.

And we basically dick around, playing 360 and going to the cinema now and again.

He was great, funneh, talkative, exciting, confident, nice, a gamer, and one of the few people I felt comfortable talking to.

Then I fucked everything up back in August and haven't spoken to him since.

He is Coloumbian, moved to the UK and lived here for about 3 years, that's when I met him, then he moved back to Columbia, now he lives in the USA, this makes me a sad panda.

We still talk on MSN for hours whenever we're both online, which is usually once every week or so, but it just ain't the same.

I've got two:

1. The most forgetful person I know, he is into meta-gaming (In Poke'mon and SSBB especially) and I swear that his little brother is the most annoying organism on this planet (I think he may have autism as well, the brother, not my friend).

2. I have no idea what race he is. You know those scientists that say one day we'll all be one race in the future? That's what he looks like. He loves all the typical mainstream X-box games (CoD, GoW, etc.) he asks very random and non-sensical questions like "Can I eat inertia?" But I love his strangeness. He skates (Although not very well) and this one girl has him on a choke chain, he'll do whatever she tells him to, and it gets very annoying.

He is a compulsive liar, but quite funny.

We both like gaming, fantasy novels, getting drunk and critisizing other people.

Used to have one, then I moved away and recently found out she had a crush on me, don't plan on ever seeing again.

We enjoy pretty much all the same things (Except I enjoy forums, he enjoys sports)
We do everything together
He gets shocked when he doesnt hear from me for a day
We enjoy the same food, same drinks, same everything

Best friend, yeah I have one. Whenever I do something stupid she goes, "Augh! I don't know what I'm going to do with you!" Yeah, she's into twilight but I can get past that. She doesn't get my anime stuff. XD

But yeah, she's kind of there to push me away from making dumb mistakes and I'm there for her to rant on when she's in a bad mood. We've only been friends for 4 years, but that's ok. In that time we've learned to trust each other more then anyone else.

My best mate became a bit of a trend follower when he was going through his adolescent "angst" moment (Skinny Jean, hardcore metal, etc), which I couldn't have really cared about, except for the fact that during that time he became a bit of a bogan as well.

But he's past that stage now so it's all good.

I love him. I have done for as long as I can remember. We dated for 2 years in past and we've been best friends for... 5 years or so. Time flies. I believe he is my soulmate and I would die for him without thinking about it.

I'm not sure. I moved to a high school where I didn't know anyone, and for the past four years, I'm not sure if I've made a best friend. Or a mutual best friend, at least. Twice I've thought someone was my best friend, only to have them mention and talk about who THEIR best friend is.

I guess I'm just the friend people come to when they're in trouble, and when everything is fine, they treat me like normal junk.

I've known my best friend for about 15, coming on 16, years. We met at school, in our second year. Not sure how it was that we ended up friends, because we spent most of that early period fighting. By the time I moved away in my fourth year, we were bestest buddies (I went to her house EVERY evening, practically). Even after I moved, we still stayed in contact, and I would go over during every school break. We had our fights, of course, but always sorted it out eventually.

We share a unique sense of humour, and have running jokes that go back well into the last decade. She's kinda like a sister to me, and she's always the person I go to first if I'm upset or in trouble. She was the first person I came out to. She's always been there - I barely have any memories of a time when we didn't know each other.
