I work as a designer for Nintendo DS titles. Lots of fun, however sometimes I wish I was back on 360 or PS3 development.

Been many things in my life, a fuel injection technician, suit sales man, car valet, mechanics apprentice for a taxi company, phone opperator for said taxi company. and for the past 4 years ive been a bar person, not specifically a cocktail maker, but its part of what i do, in our pub were all jacks of all trades. There is the owner, but he doesnt work, just counts the money, hes bang on though, and the rest of us manage the bar and off licence between us, there are 9 of us in total. I dont work full time, just 25 hours at the weekends and i cover holiday hours too, im only 22 and in college, been working at it since i was 18 and still in my final year in school. Tis a kick ass job.

I work in a music shop, mainly guitars, drums, basses. It's the best job I could ask for; I get to, get discounts, test products, get discounts, give my honest opinions to customers and did I mention discounts? And all the other staff are cool guys, we usually go for a pint on fridays.

I have been labouring for the past couple of months. Only job I've ever had, and it's shit. You break your back all day, moving plasterboards all over the shop, and get paid shit money to do it. Thank fuck tomorrows my last day.

I work at a lager tag place, which isn't that bad, but two of my friends from there left, which makes it slightly worse.

I'm a Student so no proper job yet but best part time has been this summer, working at major music Festivals (Reading, Leeds, Latitude etc.) as an on site supermarket employee.
this may not sound like great fun but I get into the festival for free, get a staff wristband that lets you q jump, discount on all the items in store and only 8 hour shift a day, meaning lots of time to go see the bands.
also the work isn't very taxing, the other people are nice and it's great experience for the CV

The Dr Jack said:
I hate my job. I wash dishes. I hate it.
Heh I'm a pot washer too! Only I almost enjoy it... Sad isn't it?

I get to do vegetable prep too though, so I have a bit of variation. its not too bad, only part time so i can get some money together for uni, and all the people I work with are sound.

My first job was a ticket seller on the beach - it wasn't a bad job: you work like 30 minutes a day and you get a free spot with a lounge and an umbrella; the pay was OK, but there weren't many people my age around so it was kind of lonely.
My second job was as a translator and I enjoyed it. I worked in a team of five translating websites and it was awesome, but I'm moving to another town so I had to give that up. Hope I find something similar there.

The one I'm in now.
All I can say is I'm glad to be out of a place full of half drunk old men eyeing my up. *shudders*

Now I work in a lovely little place making and taking food to people.
