Not my best game but I got two headshots on what I think was the same Scout in a row, while he was double jumping.
Heh, reminds me of the time my whole team went sniper for giggles, me with only an hour as sniper. After killing 4 people to my amazement, I check the scoreboard to see that only one other teammate killed anyone. I'd stopped moving to type something, saw a scout run by with our intel (it was turbine), finished up, and shot him in the back of the head while he was double jumping
Sat there awe-struck.

...I also have 43 points from a game where I decided to be a jackass and switch to pyro while everyone else was engy trying to wrench each other (no sentries).
42 destructions and watching the rest of me engies build rows of immpregneble dispensers not far from the enemy spawn. Heh heh.

In a single full round I know I've seen 70-ish with spy and 55-ish with most of the combat classes. 43 with scout yesterday was fun (I tend to be too twitchy with scout aiming).

Dustbowl 1st stage.

I had a played a collection of the classes.

1st: I was a spy and I just sat behind the first control point. I let them take it and when they ran by me I backstabbed every single one of them. I got 14 backstabs and another 5 revolver kills.

2nd. I chose to be a demoman and I just planted sticky nades on the tunnel exits. I killed 7 diffrent people.

3rd: We lost our main defender so I switched to heavy and must have turned ten scouts into swiss cheese.

Once I was a BLU medic on the third stage of Dustbowl. We had just taken the first capture point, and I was healing my comrades as we gradually clawed our ways through their defenses. I managed to stay alive nearly the entire round, giving multiple ubers and accumulating almost 15,000 healing points, until I was finally sniped seconds before we took the final cap.

Second place, probably building a turret in the 2fort basement during the Scout update. Scout after scout threw themselves at my defenses, only to be massacred. It was finally taken out when I followed a wounded scout outside the intel room, was killed, and a spy walked in and sapped it.

Third place, as a Red heavy with a medic buddy on Dustbowl stage 2, we pushed from the final cap point all the way up to their spawn, racking up over 20 kills.

Who here doesnt know it? valve are the best game developers. EVER. They are Responsible for CS, TF, HF, CS;S, TF2, HF2, Hf2Ep1, HF2ep2, L4D, Portal, and maybe one or two others I left out - in short, they are great, but sadly dont make lots of games. Which is a blessing in one way, (Becuase when they DO make them they are awesome.)

It was an Arena match--I forget which map. Deciding to just goof off for a bit, I decided to play as Pyro and quickly typed in the server's code to play Motorhead's "Ace of Spades".

To the tune of "Ace of Spades" I killed half the enemy team before they finally got me.

It was by no means my best round, but the combination of the music and my killing spree made it one of my most memorable.

I played a round today actually, with Pheonix(AKA Prophet). I was engi and he was my bodyguard while I set up these epic strongpoints on various maps. 70-something points in one game. It's all the more epic since It's been almost 8 months since I last played TF2.
Yeah. But you forget to mention that I came on with for 2 minutes, joined the other team, backstabbed your bodygaurd, destroyed one of your buildings and solo capped a point.
I never really was on your side. =D

One of my funnest (and best) was when I was an Engo on 2fort...
I set up my sentry in the romm with the hole above the entrance to the building, which would shoot everyone that came through.
My friends, being newbies (just like me ^^) all ran like sheep into the fire.
I think I had racked up 30 kills before they realised how I was killing them xD

I'll probably say my best moment came while playing as a heavy in one of the defend maps (the one where the final point lies on the other side of a short bridge?). The offensive team had pushed us back with ease up until this point, but it seems that it was only at the final checkpoint that our team managed to pull it together and hold the line.

Much of our team consisted of engineers (4 or so if I recall correctly) and pure offense classes (pyro/soldier). The engineers, having built dispensers and sentry guns joined the ranks of the offensive classes in choking rivers with their dead. The hadful of players who opted to play as medic had their hands full just trying to stem the tide of bodies rapidly piling up in our glorious stand.

I had switched to heavy only in the defense of this final checkpoint; I figured that I hadn't seemed to make much of an impact on their will to advance with rocket launcher or flame thrower and figured at the very least the minigun would make them pay dearly for every step taken. As luck would have it, the engineers had placed three of the dispensers in close proximity to one another, and I was able to literally have my back to a wall while being healed by all three of them at the same time - even a sniper could not hope to dislodge me alone. It seemed as though my minigun barrels never stopped spinning for the full 20 minutes we had to defend that god forsaken point, and there were many moments where our entire team had all chosen to perish valiantly in the forward defense leaving myself and the sentry guns to hold the line against the full onslaught of the other team.

I know not how many assaults I fended off or how many foes were felled by my minigun. All I know is that after an eternity perched on the precipice of utter defeat the sacrifices of my team mates had not been in vain as we emarged victorious. A shrine the size of the pentagon was erected from my spent brass, confirming that soviet firepower and the utter disregard for loss of life is indeed the key to a successful defense.

Not to disagree, but the originan CS and TF were developed by independent mod teams that were later acquired by Valve. I suppose that does give Valve credit for knowing how to find talent and aquire excellent properties. That said, TF2 is such a radically different experience than it was when it started in the Quake days (I STILL want my grappling hook back for the spy! And the fact that the medic can no longer deliver a tropical illness to the opposing team irks me greatly).

My best round was when my team completely turned the tables in a match we were losing badly. We were steamrolled on the first part of Goldrush. But on the second part we set up an epic defence with three sentries and a balanced team (I was engineer.) The enemy did't even get a foothold outside the gates, and I scored 42 points in one life.

A close second must be one of the rounds I've played on Granary, where my team have changed an even match to complete slaughter by changing strategies a bit. There's nothing like winning before the other team have even properly respawned after teh first slaughter. Having 16 points after one round as Pyro when the second best is 8, that's fun! The only bad thing about it is that such a round is so extremely short, so the fun doesn't last that long...

I'd be up for it. I think we should try and organise another extravaganza really. The first one, the one where people actually showed up, was so much fun.

On Gravelpit, as a defender. I was playing engi/demoman (was just a pug) and I managed to defend B point near-singlehandedly.

Either that or my fantastic backstabbing spree in 2fort once- I got behind a main group of Heavys, Medics and Demomen and I just backstabbed all of them at once.

I joined a game on Dustbowl, defence, stage 3 second point.

15 minutes left and in those 15 minutes I managed to get 48 points as Medic before the round was over. Unfortunately it didn't replace my previous record of 34 points because this was on Xbox and it glitched D:
