Googling porn and a solution to the issue using the almighty power of TABS.

..Yeah, I went there.

And if I fail to find a solution, then God help you if you say anything to further depress or piss me off..

yank the battery, put it back in, start computer up in safe mode, and start running a full scan and hope for the best

Alt-F4.
Start, Shut Down.
Boot laptop, search for solution.
If all else fails, just use the laptop for a few days while I replace the afflicted part. Absolutely nothing on my hard drives is irreplaceable (though some of it would be tedious to gather again), and even that should be intact if the fault is anywhere else in the hardware.

(I assume from the first post that this is legitimate diagnostic software, otherwise step 4 instead reads "boot in safe mode, install and run antivirus")

I would just sigh. I haven't backed up recently, but I really wouldn't lose that much, so it wouldn't be hard to find it again.

Five minutes eh? Well with my current internet connection I could definitely upload some porn real quick. What else in fuck would you do with that much time?

Put the image on my desktop onto a thumb drive, because I like it to much to lose it. Other then that I'm fine. I can just reinstall my steam games...WAIT F*** THAT. I WOULD HAVE TO GET KOTOR 2 WORKING AGAIN. I refuse. I reject the fact that my computer will die in 5 minutes. Through power of pure will and with the help of google this error/virus/whatever is going to die.

grab my external drive, back up all of the items in "my documents", "my pictures", and "my music" in that order. screw videos. while doing that, i would try to figure out what the problem is with my computer, if its the cpu, or memory, i would take note of that and order a new one, if it was my motherboard or gpu i would remove my cpu, memory, and hard drive and sell them (keep the hard drive though) then buy a new laptop.

After backing up everything I need to keep I'll be googling solutions. If I can't solve it, I'll have it play Rick Asterly until it dies.

Die how? If it's hardware (as in the motherboard is going to fry), I would just shut it off and get my HDDs out of there. If it was the HDDs that were going to fail, I would probably hate myself for not backing it up more. If it was the software, move everything important from my master drive to my slave drive, and then format and reinstall Windows on the master.
