PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT I've lost all my data about 3 times now, PCs keep dying on me, well actually the first one my sister deleted a shit load of vital files because they were taking space that she wanted to use for music -_- she's not particularly bright but she's hard-working and has people skills so that balances that out, well anyway the second time I bought a used PC and it turned out to be deffective and the hard drive burned still not sure how that happened, 3rd time I was moving the car's engine bursted into flames and the computer and PS3 burned along with it.
So I'm pretty sure I could live with that.

FREEEDOOOM!!!!!!!!!

...

Okay, now I sound like a pathetic loser who lacks the motivation and self-discipline to get away from the computer and do more things with my life.

In all seriousness, I'd hastily upload my favourite pictures and writing somewhere. If I missed anything it doesn't matter too much. Then I'd see if my brother could fix this laptop. Some time later, after having been forced to do other things due to boredom and loneliness, I'd attempt to build a new computer, that or buy a really old one and play old games, depending on my mood.

I'd chuckle to myself and plug my charger back in.

Seriously, five minutes of battery life on a laptop really makes it hard to get anything done when there aren't any outlets around.
Actually, this, haha.

I would thank myself for keeping everything mirrored on multiple external HDs so when this does happen, I don't lose anything. Then I would be happily shopping for a more powerful machine, while also cringing at the idea of spending that kind of money when I can't really afford it right now.

By getting the name of the problem, rebooting in safe mode (if software)/shutting down (if hardware), and then checking things out on my laptop.

Shit. These kinds of threads have been done to death.
OT:If it was fixable then I would try to fix it. If not, than hell, why bother if it's unfixable.

OH GOD, WHERE IS MY FLASH DRIVE, IT WAS RIGHT HERE THE OTHER DAY, I HAVE NORTON, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING. SHIT SHIT SHIT, MY SAVE FILES GO FIRST ON THE FLASH DRIVE, NO WAIT, VIDEOS, I DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD THEM ALL AGAIN. MY TORRENTS, FUCK.
That would explain why your computer would be dying.

I would stand at the edge of the world as the new, and unfamiliar, horizon approached me.
So, it has come to this at last.

If the sun will rise tomorrow, I am unsure.
For this is the end of all things.

The creations of man, for all their ingenuity and hubris, crumble now as the night to end all nights claims this final day.

If my sacrifice has been sufficient, if the world has been saved, I will never know. This is a story that began in days long past, and I have only played my part, perhaps the final part.

Oblivion is very near now. The struggle is over.
I close my eyes.

Sounds like a likely assessment, thing's been acting up of late...

OT: turn it off, take it to a PC repair shop, then let them deal with it. Or get a new one.

Make my laptop as comfortable as possible, hold him in my arms, be with my old friend in his last moments of life.

I love you, Patch!

sigh and find an outlet, then rage because it takes more than 5 minutes to find an outlet in my house. then plug it in and have my computer ask if i would like to restore my session.

if its dying like never turning on again?

sigh and battle my bro/mom to death for the use of one of the other computers.

I fire off an email to the store I got it from, I only brought it 2 months ago and for the price I paid for it, I expected better.

Note, I use to work in the industry, and could have built my own machine for a little cheaper, however I decided that I'd rather pay $200 to get someone else to deal with it, and ordered a custom machine for a store I use to deal with, works wonderfully and I didn't have any stuffing around, just plug in and go.
