that would make for an interesting story "Entreri, if i've told you once i've told you a thousand times, if you're going to be the hero you can't kill people for their gold" "but... why? i want the gold. it is shiny. and i can use it for booze."
think you may have missed a bit
I think you may have edited a bit. lol

And yeah, honestly, if things do get evil in a hurry, my guy tends to shrug, sigh, and consider it the will of fate, and join in. So I think we'd be ok.
ha, like "fuck it, they probably beat their kids or sold drugs to old people or something." "yeah yeah, whatever. look, there's a fuckton of guards, so... wheres that dagger you bought me? ooh, wait, give me a rope and a shovel. i'm feeling creative"
Yeah, when I accidentally kill civilians in Oblivion, I plant Skooma on their corpse. :)
i planted beaten old people in their homes. don't ask why, or how. i'm still not sure about either of those XD i need to get my tablet back, i could draw this up right quick with it.

It's got to be a red blue/green Argonian covered in all sorts of spines and little scars (if possible) for me. I always liked them, but the new screen-shots confirmed my choice.
A thief and assassin always seems like a nice choice for an Argonian: one-handed weapons (maybe knives?), Alchemy, Marksman, Sneak, Security, those sorts of things.

He'll have a bit of a anger-issue when it comes to Dunmer, due to the whole enslavement thing. However, the friends my little Argonian would make he would be incredibly loyal to: I don't think he could kill all his friends like the the Dark Brotherhood quest.

EDIT:

That said, a second play-through has to be with someone who is a ruthless bastard who only seeks to manipulate others for fortune and power. Possibly an Imperial just because it sounds the part. A huge heavy-armoured, mace-and-shielded monster who'll beat the ever-loving crap out of the people who stand in his way, and make the rest of the world worship him like a hero for doing so.

Race - Argonian

Name - Seb

Age - youngest it is on the gauge

Sex - Male

Ideal facial details - If possible a long scar across left cheek. set the skin colour to be as
red/black as possible (makes the Argonian look like Darth Maul)

Skill Specialty and Combat Style - short blade stealth

Star Sign/Birth Sign - the thief (on the basis it's as good as it was in Oblivion)

Allegiance / Guilds or Groups - fuck the mages and warriors, Dark brotherhood all the way :)

Other personal roleplay information - Kill people that piss me off in chat, kill people that have nicer stuff than me, kill people 'cause I was told to. I'll always take the option most beneficial to me.

Race: Argonian
Name: Nocc-Shikkar
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Facial Details: Green face with red detail scales.
Skills: Sneak, archery, alchemy
Allegiance: Unsure
Combat style: In open areas he goes for the high ground and attacks with silent, poisoned arrows, often killing enemies with one hit. In more confined areas uses chameleon spells/potions to sneak up and stab enemies.

Story: * Its long. Sorry :p was writing it down and all these details emerged. Even edited some parts down. Be warned

Nocc is orphaned at the age of 9 from bandits who attacked his family on an outing. They killed his father Rek-Leem and took his mother Leakk-Da who was sold to a Dunmer from Morrowind. The bandits kept him, hoping to eventually have an Argonian in their group.

Soon he was saved by Nithrallia, a teenage female bosmer archer who was passing by in the woods. Nocc asked for her aid in rescuing his mother. Having a budding interest in alchemy she welcomed the thought of having an Argonian assistant. So he could harvest materials poison and safe alike, so she could not violate the green pact. She agreed to help him if he served under her for a few years.

Together they learned alchemy, and she taught him what she knew of archery and sneak. In his spare time he worked at improving his budding magical abilities, favoring feather (to make him as light and nimble as a wood elf), chameleon, and detect life. Seven years later he grew restless of servitude and demanded her to aid him in his quest for his mother's freedom. She agreed and they were off to Morrowind. After years of searching they found the camp where his mother was kept. They snuck into the camp to free her. They were almost successful, but another Argonian slave demanded to be freed as well. They had planned only to retrieve Leakk, this caused uproar throughout the holds which caused the Head Slaver a dark elf named Likkarn Verothi to burst in with some guards. He kills Nocc?s mother with a frost spell and mortally wounds Nithrallia with a dagger. Nocc roared with the force of a dragon. There was a flash of green mist and Nocc was nowhere to be seen. The Dunmer stabbed at the air where Nocc was but failed to hit anything. He heard a loud crack and turned to see one guards neck broken. Then heard a few sharp twangs and saw his guards fall to arrows hit precisely in their foreheads. Snarling the dark elf ran out the door right after casting a wall of ice in the hallway to prevent being followed.

After watching his mentor/love interest Nithrallia die in his arms, Nocc pursues the Dark elf to Skyrim, where Likkarn has ties to a Count. Still Nocc finds and murders Likkarn. He is caught afterwards and sentenced to his death by the Count.

Mine will be a young dark elf named Kittario.
Morally, he's good. He doesn't like to fight unless he's forced to.
He is a stealth, acrobatics specialist with some budding magical abilities.

Born to a poor mother, he was sold as a servant to a noble family in the imperial city. All that's left from his family is a little pet mouse named Zii that he keeps with him (and talks to when lonely) at all times. He remained with the nobles for all of his youth as their servant. During a shopping trip in the market, he was ruffed up by a fairly racist guard as a suspect in some ongoing thievery going on in the city. Losing his cool, he accidentally lost control and blasted the guard, killing him. Of course it sent the whole of the guard after him. He outran the guards and headed for the hills, leaving his old life behind. He was caught crossing the border into Skyrim, and apprehended. Then he learns that he's a dragonborn (I guess?) So begins his journey.
Fantastic. =) So are Kittario's magical abilities derived from him being an unknown Dragonborn? Also, now that he's heading to Skyrim, will he be looking for a secluded life in the city as a servant once again (as maybe that's all he's ever known and is his realm of comfort) Or will he fend for himself in the wilderness in a cabin somewhere maybe to try avoiding the guards if they were to come knocking in the city?
His magic is derived from his blood since most dark elves are innately magic. His ancestor spirit has been attempting communication since he was a baby. He's never known that since he's been with humans, not allowed to socialize with others and received a bare-minimum education (They told him that the spirit is just an bad ghost trying to trick children). But yeah, I think him being a Dragonborn may enhance it, especially when he starts learning shouts.

He won't go back to servitude, I think. Since he's been locked up his whole life he's going to want to live it on his own now, but not without difficulty. Socially he'll be woefully inept, his pet mouse being his only anchor. He'll be incredibly uncomfortable is open spaces, but in time he'll adjust. He may start as a cut-purse, or trying to help people he meets in exchange for coin. His life has always been about survival, and since servitude is all he knows, he will continue being somewhat of a goody-goody to help people.

So he'll start living in the forests, away from people. Then probably move in to a city when he's learned and adjusted. Also, his outlook and attitude may (And are always subject to) change depending on how the story unfolds and the people he meets. That's the part I'm most excited about! :D

Name: Joseph 'Joey' Harper
Race: Redguard
Age: Around 25-30
Gender: M
Appearance: Generic face (I'm crap at altering it realistically) but lightened skin, I'm only using Redguard for the background, but want to be caucasian in game. (Did I spell that correctly?)
Playstyle - Probably going to be a lightly armoured swordsman with knowledge of Restoration, Conjouration and Alteration. I might also have some Destruction.

Joey grew up in Chorrol where he lived a happy childhood. He and his father were directly related to a man named 'Baurus'. Joey never really knew much about this man, except that he was a friend with someone who had once had the honour of being the Archmage of the Mages guild and Guildmaster of the Fighters Guild. Due to the friendship between the two in the past, Joey was always well recieved at both organisations and would often spend his spare time honing his skills at either place. At the age of 17, his parents hired a cart and took his fathers horse up to a place called 'Cloud Ruler Temple', bringing Joey with him. This was to make sure the boy could 'learn what his ancestor did, and why that makes him so special' because 'now he is mature enough to understand'.

Sadly, as they neared Bruma, bandits attacked them and, though Joey and his father fought well, they were overwhelmed and his father was killed. His body was left lying in the road as the cart went up in flames, Joey and his mother were bound and bundled onto the backs of horses as the gang made their way up to their camp in the North of Cyrodiil. When they reached the camp, Joey's mother was dealt with in the way that was to be expected before having her throat cut and fed to the dogs, all whilst Joey watched. He was kept for 6 months as something between entertainment, a punchbag and a slave, forced to demean himself in front of the gang or clean their kit, or expect more beatings.

After the 6 months, the gang got bored of looting as they had enough to start up legitimate lives and live comfortably for the rest of their lives. They decided to disband, setting the dogs on their slave. Fortunately Joey had managed to keep himself in peak physical condition and had learnt from the gang how to deal with the dogs. As they rode off back to the camp, leaving one bandit with Joey and the dogs, it was easy work for him to deal with the first dog leaping at him, before stunning the second. He then tackled the guard, stole his weapon and slew the hounds, before dealing with the bandit. The last of the bandits recieved a shock when Joey rode rode into the clearing, shooting two down with a bow before dismounting and killing the rest. Sadly, the ring leader was gone, leaving only a note to his lieutenant to explain where he went.

Next, Joey hunted for the man who had decided to kill his parents, and many more as well. It took him a few years, but he eventually found him, now living the life as a 'pillar of the community' in a town. No one who knew him would've guessed that only a few years ago, this man had committed tens of murders all in the name of personal gain. Joey, having failed to convince the authorities of this mans guilt, calmly walked up to him as he tended his crops, saying only 'Remember me?' and seeing the look of fear in the man's eyes before running him through with the lieutenants sword.

Joey then knelt beside the body and waited, waited for the guards to arrive...

Okay, Hytro. I don't think I've left ANY things you could complain with regards to the lore, but knock yourself out looking.

I havent really thought too much about this yet. But I will be an Orc (like always), hopefully to have tattoos/war paint/scars. Heavy armor, giant axe, but also able to use healing spells, and destruction. Thats how I always played, and love it.

My friend, this is my favorite so far that I've read, bar none. I Love It! =) Believable and well constructed. Beats my character design on the opening post easily. XD I have no questions about it, it sounds absolutely fantastic. I foresee you having soooo much fun in the land of Skyrim. =p

My character will be a male Redguard with a scruffy beard and messy hair. He woke up one morning and discovered all of his bread is gone. And he really really wants to make a grilled cheese sandwich.

This of course will tie into the main story of Skyrim, in which the dragons have returned to steal all of our bread so that they can have a massive Toast Feast for themselves (the evil greedy bastards!). My character will fight the beasts and make an over out of their stomachs. Then....GRILLED CHEESE FOR EVERYONE!!!

Now...midnight snack time.

Thank you. Your's was my favorite. Always played an Argonian alchemist/archer in Oblivion, and kinda wondered what kind of background would lead to learning alchemy. Never really expanded on that thought until I saw this thread now I can't stop thinking about it. Even been sketching the poor lizard bastard which I might put up =p
