Your Fantasy Game Company Merger

Alright, so I was just thinking about this myself, but if you could choose, which two (we'll say two for now, or else things get hectic) game developing companies would you like to see a merger between, and why? It doesn't have to be a realistic scenario or anything, as the likeliness of it happening will certainly vary.

Still, fun to think about. Me, I'm a big fan of BioWare and Ubisoft. I don't know what in the hell would happen if they merged, but damn me if I don't want to see it. Admittedly, they kind of churn out different games, with Ubisoft's hot numbers being their action-adventure PoP and AC games, and BioWare being all about the RPGs.

But thats sorta why I'd like to see it, crashing those two genres together can turn out pretty damn nice sometimes. And again, we're not being realistic. Hell, it doesn't even have to hold together, or have a reason. Just for fun.

You?

Bioware and Square

I'd like to see the strong stories and dialogue of Bioware, but mixed in with the visuals and styles that Square always seem to offer.

Bioware and Rockstar. I would love to see a world built like Red Dead Redemption with a touch of RPG and a dialogue system Bioware-style.

Kinda neat how we're all saying something + BioWare so far. Hope they feel complimented.

Bioware and Bethesda, hopefully no-one's going to ninja me while I'm typing this.

Bioware does story, dialogue and characters (which includes how characters interact with each other, I don't trust Bethesda doing that), Bethesda design the environment, things to explore, interface and so on.

If I can have three companies, then I might need Valve's QA testing team. Just to balance out Bethesda.

Estimated release date of Biothelve's first game: 2025.

Either CD Project and Valve or CD Project and Frictional Games.
Hmmm...or maybe Frictional and Valve?

Bethesda and CCP (makers of EVE Online and not yet released World of Darkness).

Take Bethesdas amazingly crafted RPG worlds and CCP's ability to create a sandbox MMORPG and, well, ya...

Basically, what I'm getting at is: Skyrim: Online.

Epic and Lionhead. I don't know why, but I have a feeling it'd be awesome!

Bethesda and Square Enix. Let Squeenix make the plot and character designs, and have Bethesda do all the actual gameplay portions.

Their games would taste of orgasm and love.

Obsidian and Bethesda. Chris Avellone can write the stories, and Michael Kirkbride can write the lore.

I'd also love to see a massive platformer made by Insomniac/Naughty Dog/Sucker Punch.

Bad puppy. Go stand in a corner and think about what you said. Think bland empty horrible WoW style MMO that annihilates the Half-life property. You get a pet head-crab and can choose your crow bar colour. Oh I can't wait *sigh*.
