Valve, Infinity Ward, Bungie, Epic Games, you name it! What is your favorite game developing company, and add your favorite game by that company.

Mine, would probably have to be Team Silent, that or Infinity Ward. I loved the second Silent Hill game and Call of Duty 4.

What about you guys? What is your favorite?

This will turn into 90% BioWare or Valve, and 10% people saying that they hate BioWare and Valve.

Regardless. BioWare.

Thanks for that. Not sure if this is an inevitability or not. Hopefully not.

Bioware, and it shall remain so until Valve fixes Valve Time.
Yes, how dare Valve invest time and effort into their products to ensure they meet our expectations!

OT: I feel kind of silly picking one game developer over all others, since most game developers produce radically different games from others. I don't expect BioWare to suddenly produce a satisfying RTS game. Still, if I have to pick I guess I would go with Valve because they made Team Fortress 2, which is probably my all time favorite game. Plus Valve doesn't feel as separate from their community as other developers do.

Though I feel that I must also mention Bay 12 Games because of Dwarf Fortress. It's run by two people, yet they have managed to create one of the most elaborate and complex games I have ever played.

Sounds interesting I might try it.

Nintendo and Bioware. None of them have ever made games that are bad.

You should probably keep in mind the Dwarf Fortress is still a work in progress. Many new features and bug fixes are constantly being implemented, so you need a tolerance for some issues that can occur. Right now Dwarf Fortress is anything but newb friendly (hell I've been playing for months and still don't understand some of the features). Due to the graphics and gameplay, it is very difficult to adjust yourself to it even with all of the best tutorials out there.

First time I tried playing DF I was hopelessly confused by what I was looking at. Then I stumbled upon this story [http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/Boatmurdered/] a few weeks later, and after reading it I was determined to experience what Dwarf Fortress had to offer.

What? Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo more than most gamers today probably do, but to say they have never put out a bad game is questionable. Sure most of them don't get much attention, but Nintendo has produced games that are mediocre or worst.

LucasArts - They made an epic FPS Star Wars game back in the 90's.. I can't remember what it was called..

As for my favorite/s now, Bioware, Nintendo, Valve and Epic Games.

To be honest, Even though Bioware made my favourite game of all time ever, They're not my favourite developer. Because frankly, play one Bioware RPG, Play them all.

My favourite developer would probably be... Gosh... You know I really don't have a favourite, anyone can make a bad video game so I try not to invest in a single company, I guess if you press me I'd say Game Freak because they got me into gaming in the first place

Wii Music says hello.

So does all the franchises they're milking for all their worth.
Can someone explain to me how they are milking their franchises when they continue to push out great games in said franchises? I'd only say they were milking them if they put no effort into these games, but despite what people claim I've only seen people improve and refine their franchises over time, and they do try new things with them.

I'd rather have Nintendo take an old franchise and make another great game in it than start a new one that sucks. That's not to say I'm against them making new franchises though. You could say Pikmin is relatively new (at least by Nintendo's standards), and I love that franchise. Now if they would just make a third game already.

Bethesda. They made Morrowind, Oblivion and fallout 3 so I can't NOT say them.

Other than them, Paradox are awesome.

I'd say Atlus, but I'm not sure if they develop the games or just publish them.
Other then Atlus, I'd say Bioware or Valve. Even though I didn't like all games Valve made, they seem to be the only company to respect its customers.
