Wait, they're actually making a sequel? Thought that was a rumor.

....How can they continue that one? Didn't we end it in the game...?
Yeah, it's been confirmed.

Bioshock 2 : Sea of Dreams (Working Title)

In my opinion, it will completely undo everything good the first one did, but I guess I won't know for sure until it comes out.
I'll be damned. But how -can- they continue it? I mean, seriously! The thing -ended- pretty definitively. I mean, it was one of the first games I played that year that, when I ended it, I thought, "Ah, sweet. An ENDING."

Wow.

Silent Hill 2 obviously. Aside from that, Star Wars TIE Fighter, mainly because it's one of the only games where you start evil and aren't forced into turning good half way through. It was just killing Rebel scum throughout, until Admiral Zaarin betrayed the Emperor, then it was killing Imperial traitors.
What system was THAT for? Sounds AWESOME!

Indigo Prophecy purely because it went completely crazy for the last half and just made me laugh at its sillyness.
Yeah, it was like they said 'Wow, we've got the first half of this story down! Wait, we have a week to gold? SHIT! Use the forums."

Although that first half was very, very kickass

I'll just list off a couple...

Mass Effect (of course I was going to say that, it's epic and realized)

Age of Mythology (funny, engaging, and puts believable twists and developments on ancient mythology)

Half-Life 2 (unfolds at a superior pace, and keeps enough a mystery to keep you going and witnessing the world for yourself)

Warcraft (did Star Wars better than Star Wars itself did)

Sam & Max: Chariots of the Dogs.
But if you want one where you wouldn't have to play the previous episodes to get everything, then Sam & Max: Abe Lincoln Must Die!
Ok ok, so the whole series.

I mean, how does one beat this exchange? And this is a pretty regular example:
Sam: "Have no fear, simple citizens. The freelance police are here to keep the peace."
Max: "Violently, if possible! You called?"

As far as the rumour goes, it will be a prequel...

Another rumour going round as that you will play a female character, possibly a little sister...

Broken Sword: the Shadow of the Templars

You wouldn't play it for the graphics, although possibly for the small amount of humour and plesant gameplay. The story is what keeps you playing. Old PC game, point and click adventure. A remake is being release for Wii.

Assassin's Creed, easily, the story is just amazing in that game, well written, intruiging(spelling?) and topped off by a really well made plot twist.
Really? I mean, I liked the game, but I figured out the story even before I was halfway through. That could of course also have been due to my pure awesomeness, but even though I'd like to believe that, that probably is not the case.

Oh well, I liked FF XII's story, don't really know why though. It just sort of appealed to me.

Hotel Dusk (DS) - This game has the best cast of characters I've ever seen in a game. The dialog is really well done and consequently, the story is what the game is all about. Also, the sketchy artwork really works well in allowing the character's actions and words to bring them to life. This game is about story more than any other. And yes, I played Mass Effect and KotOR and they were both fantastic, but Hotel Dusk is in a league of it's own.
