the ARX-7 Arbalest.

not that the mech design is much to rave about...
but the AI actually has a sense of humor:

I'm pretty sure this is it. I wanted to pick a warhammer Titan but this one makes my original choice look like little Sally down the street with a watergun.

Seriously, this thing would end you, and must of your puny planet.

(For those unaware, it's Tauburn from Star Driver.)

Why do I love this mech so much? Because it doesn't look like a normal mech. Most mechs focus on the "Look, it's big and bulky and has tons of guns!" aspect, which I personally find unappealing and bland. With this mech there's more of a focus on weird qualities that are more akin to a dancer than a big, hulking mech. The sleek-&-skinny body design, the weird-as-hell air-hair, it just screams unique all over.

I love the good old Nova. Nothing like hitting your enemy in the face with 12 lasers at once.

I don't have a mech, but maybe someone will know what im talking about, but does anyone know the name of a certain anime where people operate the mech and if the mech gets shot or stabbed, then the operator does too. If someone replied with the name or something that would really help. I saw a clip of it a couple weeks age and remember seeing it while i was younger.

Only one for me....

Who else in the U.S. thinks we should erect a Big O statue in the Hudson River to counter Japan's RX-78-2 and tetsujin (Gigaaaantoooooor!!)

Personally, My preference lies with my custom AC Bladestorm.

I lack a picture but it looks pretty good, is designed for high speed combat and destroys opponents in close combat.

Generally, if you made it, you'll love it.

Psh, my grandma could do that... in her sleep... uphill... in the snow...

Besides, I don't watch mechs fight to see em do silly spins and stuff. I wanna see two big slabs of weaponry trading blows till one falls over and the other stands triumphant, the way it's meant to be done. Dodging blows? Pah! What'll people think of next? Unnatural is what it is...

Is that game very old? And by that, I mean, can I buy it in stores? Or do I have to hunt it down on some shady website on the internet to download it? Or is it avaliable on Steam?
Mechwarrior: Living Legends is a total conversion mod for Crysis. You need to own Crysis in order to play it, with the next release version of the mod also supporting the standalone expansion Crysis Warhead. Won mod of the year last year at MODDB and has been receiving solid support ever since! Multiplayer only however, and one needs to keep in mind its still only in the Beta stages, but even so it's an incredibly fun experience already.

As soon as I get a Flashman mech it's game over.

The Catapult was always cool too. Great LRMs.

I have great respect for all mechs, just not the eastern ones that jump around with swords that are essentially just ninjas made of metal. I guess they're ok in space, but down on earth unless they're made of tinfoil that just looks dumb.

Oh Hello there....

My robot can regenerate himself, has superior alien technology, has morals and intelligence, and he can blast all your puny excuses of a robot... also he has a great heart and soul, and is resistent to almost all kinds of blasts... and if you happen to dismantle him, he will just reassemble easily.

Also some of his weapons are made from "Everything" piercing lasers and Nuke Blasts....

So... you guys were saying?

*Edit* also how do you guys do that spoiler thingy? im pretty noobish and would like to know if possible ;3
You make Spoilers like so:
1. either use () or [] instead of "" around spoiler like this "spoiler"

2. then write it like so: "spoiler" content "/spoiler"

3. Finished product
and that's how spoilers work to give them a name/title like did write "spoiler=insert name here" for the color change same thing but use "color=" instead of "spoiler=" other tips can be found here: [link]http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/markup_help.php [/link]

Though I have never actually played the game itself, I have always had a soft spot for the Hollander II from the Battletech universe, ever since I got a replica out of K'nex for Christmas one year, if anyone even knows what K'nex are anymore.
And since I do not know to post pictures, I will just give you this handy web address. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/images/thumb/8/87/Hollander.jpg/191px-Hollander.jpg

Personally I'm a big fan of the Mechwarrior: Living Legends mod. Damned solid experience so far, and its still only in the early beta stages. Given time and continued efforts and it could easily become the multiplayer Mechwarrior experience. Already I find it better than the game for which its a mod, Crysis, go figure!

oh, it's pretty current.
