Just mind blowing. I've never seen a tune capture the proper feel and immersion of a section of a video game this good before, or since. You can smell the cheap cologne and sweat with this song....
Indeed. My usual favorite is the opening sequence song "Time's Scar." Got to see Video Games Live do that one several years ago... a great night.Shadowsetzer said:Gotta say, I'm surprised I'm the first one to mention something from this game. Say what you will about the game itself, but Chrono Cross's soundtrack is one of the best in gaming. All hail Mitsuda!
Well, someone mention Transistor so half way there. BTW both greathermes said:So long into this thread, and nobody mentioned Bastion?
Guess I could do that.Bad Jim said:Just do what everyone else usually does and post as many as you like. But please be nice and put them in a spoiler tag.BabyfartsMcgeezaks said:It's impossible for me to just choose 1 song.
Agreed, loved that song.Seth Carter said:
Seems like very few games that use contemporary type songs really put the effort into getting them written properly. They usually just license something.
Same here. This song was the perfect way to end those tens of hours of managing the awful inventory. First time I didn't try to skip the credits right away.Frezzato said:Still the ending to Mass Effect 1 for me.
It's a great moment within the game, and it still amazes me how that is the only proper cut scene in the entire game. I just wish that the game had utilized a better checkpoint system. I mean, Halo had pretty much perfected the FPS checkpoints five years earlier, so this is simply unacceptable.theSovietConnection said:Since I haven't seen any love for it yet, I'll throw up one of my favorite tracks from Black, though the whole soundtrack qualifies for me
