I've been asked a lot about all of my avatars and the guy who's in them:

which is great, because I feel that the guy deserves more attention on YouTube. His name is Brian Firenzi, and I think that's he's one of the last guys on Youtube left with any artistic integrity.

If you recognize him, it's probably from VGHS (The Law) or 5 Second Films, but I want to bring attention to the stuff he does on his own, because it is...awesome.

So, Escapist, what's the Youtuber that you feel deserves more attention?

P.S. I would've posted about foreverpandering, but for some reason he took down his videos. If anyone knows why, please quote me.

Snipe and Wib. They make awesome lets-plays, and definitely deserve more views.
They're also huge 40k fans, which is a bonus, in my opinion.

Nerd Cubed: http://www.youtube.com/user/officialnerdcubed
Does traditional style, unedited, episodic let's plays, and one-shot, 30+ minute, edited let's plays. He also does a huge variety of games. Hell, he did Train Simulator and made it hilarious.

He is my favorite because, personally, I believe every video he uploads is worth watching.

Birgirpall (pronounced "burger paul"): http://www.youtube.com/user/birgirpall
Does a few different things, a lot of him just being an idiot in Battlefield 3, but it is edited and put to music in a hilarious manner.

Definitely the Vlogbrothers, those two guys are so amazingly magical in all their sayings and doings. The wave the nerd banner high and attempt to teach youtubers science, as noble a cause as any I can imagine. http://www.youtube.com/user/vlogbrothers

Also since it seems like many escapists love Let's Plays, Rutsupurae is the perfect medicine after watching a particularly awful Let's Play. These guys just tear new one's in all of the bad Let's Players across the internet. Justice well served. http://www.youtube.com/user/retsupurae

Dude named Caddicarus, a game reviewer. He is pretty fun to watch and he has this air about him where really...you just can't bring yourself to hate the guy. He needs more attention.

Retsupurae isn't too popular if that counts as underrated.

I really do like what they do. Entertaining stuff.

While I wouldn't count him underrated, I've found not many people here on the Escapist have heard of him, so I figured I'd spread the word.

MangaMinx - Possibly the best let's player of the female variety on Youtube. She does mostly horror LP's, and when she is truly scared it's just the most hilarious shit. She also has a tendency to swear quite a lot too, especially when she get frustrated which happens a fair amount of time.

SteveBenway - A Middle-aged British Retro gaming collector. His collection is beast, and he has such a passion for gaming that it is unreal. He also have great topics to talk about, and he is an extremely intelligent individual. He also runs his own website which is cool.

Nothernlion - He does screw up at lot on his LP's, but he is always a blast to watch.

Lophatjello - Also know as the HVGN (Happy Video game nerd). He reviews underrated classics, and he has introduced me to a lot of great gaming gems. I also really like his "is it really that bad" series, which he reviews poorly rated games to see if they truly deserve their reputation.

Metaljesusrocks - A truly great guy with a great music taste. His gaming collection is quite something too. I love the little gaming competition he has with his many buddies.

Happyconsolegamer - Johnny millennium has got to be one of the most coolest gamers ever! I just love his personality, and he always makes great gaming related videos. The ones where he goes through a whole series of games is particularly good.

I'd say Sinuyan, if you like Let's Plays.

If you like instrumental soundtrack-ish music, there's Legendary

I absolutely love Robbaz. He's been a little less active as of late due to various problems in his life, but he's a wonderful guy.
I like Numberphile, which isn't about games like most of the channels I watch, but is maths for people who don't really have much knowledge of it and didn't necessarily enjoy it at school or anything. Phenomenally interesting stuff.
There's also Amarielle, who is probably the least well known of the LPers I enjoy most, although he is loosely affiliated with the Yogscast.

Hyperbithero is a guy who talks in depth about video game characters and is actually very good to listen to. He has a series called Devious Intent where he talks about video game villains. I recommend it.

EDIT: Also this video is a good analysis he does on the upcoming DmC Dante

FiMFlamFilosophy. He does a series of videos called "Rainbow Dash Presents" in which he does these parody readings of popular fan fiction of My Little Pony. Each video is around 10 to 20 minutes long and has a sizable amount of hits (roughly 200,000 to 600,000 each).

Here's one of them:

this guy, he does funny and insightful analysis of video games(and branches out). and now i remember why i don't do marketing, i really suck at explaining why something is good but this guy really is
so check is out, unless you get rage attacks when somebody says video games are art.
