Nerd Cubed is Funny...hmm how about a Crossover with Nerd Cubed and Yahtzee, both are British but one is fast talking the other is far more slow paced and calm.

YAHTZEE IF YOU SEE THIS HINT HINT!

I see no HCBailly in this thread, so I'm gonna go ahead and mention him. Hell half of the RPG LPers rip off his catchphrases if that says anything.

He's a solid LPer. Unique commentary for his videos, high quality, VERY thorough (multiple test runs before he LPs it.) No collab work with other LPers sadly, but he brings shine to just about any JRPG he touches. My 2 cents of course.

I myself do a lot of let's playing myself, under the name of BrenTenkage, not to try and self promote, but yeah. I might check him out to do a little learning

Well I would have to say that the most channels I visit these days are (unashamedly) RayWilliamJohnson for =3 (more like =1), VaatiVidya and TheSeraphim17 for their Dark Souls stuff.

Why has no one mentioned Vsauce yet? That show is all kinds of cool.

And of course, I catch the works of TeamFourStar and LittleKuriboh when I can.

I don't subscribe to anyone at all or watch anyone with any frequency really but if I had to choose... Probably MinnesotaBurns.

Sometimes, he acts a like an idiot and some of his fanbase can be likewise. But I don't really care about any of that at the end of the day. The only thing that matters is that he can get some pretty funny stuff from the jungle that is Call of Duty onto YouTube.

Some of these youtubers may have been recommended before (I hope they have been since they're amazing) but I thought I'd suggest some of my favourites since I practically live on youtube:

Favourite Storyteller: Swoozie (He is great at art and his stories are interesting and are told logically)

Favourite Female Youtuber: Anna Akana (She is honestly my idol. She is funny, smart, great editing, great body and has the best videos)

Favourite Knowledge: CPG Grey (His voice sounds amazing and I actually don't feel like I'm wasting my life on youtube after watching his videos)

Favourite Male Youtuber: Danisnotonfire (He has a great personality, his video quality does not seem to be on par with his earlier work but I still love him nevertheless because his type of humour is exactly on point)

Also deserves a mention: Lifeaccordingtojimmy, community channel and thejwittz because they are also extremely talented at what they do!

Same as OP, Ashens is my favourite youtuber. The man seems to have a direct connection to my funny bone.

As far as gaming related channels go, I mostly watch Totalbiscuit, Dodger (PressHeartToContinue) and Polaris (i.e. the Dodger channel). And the rather excellent/terrible Polaris podcast.
I don't really watch any LPs, except from IntoTheBarrier as I rather like F1 and he's just about the best F1 commentator on the youtubes.

Ashen's is a man who I think should crossover with Yahtzee, be funny to see

Lately I'm really into the British Youtube scene. The vloggers, sketch makers and whatnot. So I have quite a few favorites. Thomas Ridgewell (TomSka), Chris Bingham (slomozovo), Jack Howard, Emma Blackery, Khyan Mansley (Khyan1), and so on. Which is also why I'm freakishly in love with Benjamin Cook's Becoming Youtube series, as it features most of the big shot British Youtubers.

So this kinda stuff:

For anime, it'll definitely have to be GRArkada since he is the only big one around.. (maybe I'm just not looking far enough). http://www.youtube.com/user/GRArkada/about
He's entertaining and I just enjoy listening to his thoughts on the shows I also watch.
Favourite quote from him "Fanservice? I mean MANservice". Too much grinning from that.
.
I like gigguk s reviews, reactions and rants. <3

As lets players:well, depends on the games, really.
I like NakaTeleeli trying to survive tohou-games,

I watch a lets play of persona 3 Portable(fem) by jaydencats. She tends to sing. which gets a bit annoying sometimes, but i like her voice and that the knows what she does...(I hate it, if an RPG gets a BLIND-lets play, because the Player usually overlooks 30+x% of the content...)
Kazamieras &moshedpotatoez collab-videos are great too.
Also for dark&demon Souls: EpicNameBro s info-vids and
VaatiVidya´s Lore-videos are EPIC

Also: HcBailly& NCS for old stuff, nintendo&FF games. Cryaotic for horror games&short stuff.
jontrons stuff was nice. Hope he´ll do more.

Vlog-brothers &Vsauce ( i dont think they are connected.. V has to be coincidence) have cool stuff too.

I think there are a LOT of great Youtubers for all kinds of different topics, but I'll try and list my personal favorites:

[HEADING=3]Youtube Skeptics / Educational Channels[/HEADING]

TheraminTrees [http://www.youtube.com/user/TheraminTrees] & QualiaSoup [http://www.youtube.com/user/QualiaSoup]
In my opinion, their videos are easily among the most beautiful, educational and enlightening stuff I have seen. By the way, they are twin brothers and their style is similar. I believe at least one of the brothers has a degree in psychology.

My personal all-time favorite video is a collaboration by the two brothers, titled 'Why Live'.
(Mirror link for German viewers.) [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4rwttfIEkg]

Matt Dillahunty [http://www.youtube.com/user/SansDeity]
He is the former president of the Atheist Community of Austin. I think his rants are a delight to listen to; eloquent and on point; a great debater and one of the greatest defenders of reason today, in my humble opinion. Most of his best rants can be found on the weekly webcast / cable access television show The Atheist Experience [http://www.atheist-experience.com/archive/]. I learned a lot about spotting logical fallacies by listening to him.

Scooby1961 [http://www.youtube.com/user/scooby1961]
A critical thinker and skeptic. ...And he also happens to be a bodybuilder! I love what he does: educating people about health, fitness and nutrition, while at the same time encouraging skepticism and critical thinking. His humor may not always be my cup of tea, but he always makes a clear distinction between opinion and fact.

Some honorable mentions:
Potholer54 [http://www.youtube.com/user/potholer54]: a retired science journalist; focuses on debunking creationist claims and more recently on presenting the science behind climate change.
AronRa [http://www.youtube.com/user/AronRa]: focuses on evolution and debunking creationist claims.
ZJemptv [http://www.youtube.com/user/ZJemptv]: "Zinnia Jones, Secular Trans Feminist"; a great skeptic who focuses on LGBT rights.
AndromedasWake [http://www.youtube.com/user/AndromedasWake]: focuses on astronomy; I love his "Welcome to the Universe" series; his channel seems inactive though.

[HEADING=3]Youtube Video Game Reviews / Gaming Channels[/HEADING]

Yahtzee & Jim Sterling
Well, they both do have a Youtube presence and they are my favorite video game reviewer / commentator respectively, so I think I should mention them.

Angry Joe Show [http://www.youtube.com/user/AngryJoeShow]
Independent, entertaining, in-depth video game journalism and reviews.

Some honorable mentions:
Rage Select [http://www.youtube.com/user/RageSelect]: Let's play's and audio reviews by Jeff and Jason; this show is the successor to the cancelled Spill.com show The Loading Bar [http://spill.hollywood.com/Podcasts/Podcast.aspx?category=loading-bar].
Jeremy Jahns [http://www.youtube.com/user/JeremyJahns]: very quick, succinct, down-to-earth reviews and sometimes commentary; mostly focuses on movies, but talks about games too.
Social Dissonance [http://www.youtube.com/user/SocialDissonance]: Also known as Shepard; I learned a lot about Monster Hunter from this guy.
Epic name, bro! [http://www.youtube.com/user/EpicNameBro]: I learned a lot about Dark Souls from this guy.
MetalCanyon [http://www.youtube.com/user/MetalCanyon]: I have only watched his 'Papers, Please' LP and I thought his commentary was hilarious.
Super Bunnyhop [http://www.youtube.com/user/bunnyhopshow]: Reviews and commentary; I have only watched some of his commentaries but I found them to be really insightful and intelligent.
Review With Extreme Prejudice [http://www.youtube.com/user/MrUberman77]: Really funny parody / pseudo reviews of unreleased games; Due to wrong claims of copyright infringement, his older videos can only be found on blip.tv [http://blip.tv/review-with-extreme-prejudice]. Also, he hasn't made a new pseudo review in two years.
ProJared [http://www.youtube.com/user/DMJared]: 1-minute reviews and more; I've watched many of his reviews and I like them.
James Rolfe [http://www.youtube.com/user/JamesNintendoNerd]: aka The Angry Video Game Nerd; I like most of his comedic retro-reviews, though I also enjoy much of his out-of-character stuff. He actually is primarily a filmmaker and film collector.

[HEADING=3]Youtube Movie Reviews / Commentary[/HEADING]

Moviebob
Well, his videos do get posted on the Escapist's Youtube channel. While his reviews may not always be among my favorites, his commentary usually is.

Spill.com [http://www.youtube.com/user/SpillReviews]
Funny, down-to-earth, animated reviews by a group of friends. This is probably the first movie review show I've found online. They do have long, audio-only reviews on their web site [http://spill.hollywood.com/Audio/Default.aspx]. Also, they started a new channel, because their old channel [http://www.youtube.com/user/spillcom] has received multiple false copyright claims, I believe.

What The Flick!? [http://www.youtube.com/user/whattheflickshow]
A group of professional Critics review movies. By the way, this show is produced by The Young Turks, another Youtube channel that I've been following, an American, political commentary program.

Rethink Reviews [http://www.youtube.com/user/RethinkReviews]
"Jonathan Kim's channel featuring movie reviews (with a political slant), interviews, and episodes of ReThink Reviews on TYT."

Jeremy Jahns [http://www.youtube.com/user/JeremyJahns]
Quick, succinct, down-to-earth, entertaining movie reviews and commentary.

Some honorable mention(s):
The Nostalgia Critic [http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic]: As his name implies, he reviews nostalgic movies, pointing out and making fun of silly things in them. I also really like the episodes when he discusses something.
While he doesn't have an official Youtube channel anymore (at least as far as I know), all of his videos can still be found there.
