The Discworld Chimera.
Legs of a Mermaid, hair of a tortoise, teeth of a fowl, wings of a snake, breath of a furnace and the temperament of a rubber ballon in a hurricane. Well, the original isn't bad either.
Scrap that, every mythological creature in the discworld books and every mythological reptile, I freaking love reptiles.

1. Midgårdsormen (the midgard serpent, that thing is coiled around the friggin world)
2. Hróðvitnir (no that's not a typo, that's Icelandic for Fenrisúlfr, or Fenrir)
3. Sleipnir (Odin's eight legged horse)
4. Skogsrået (The Huldra, or Hylda)
5/6. Näcken/Bäckahästen (It's debatable that these two creatures, is the one and same)
7-infinity the rest of all those beautiful/nightmarish beast out there.
