Many of those mentioned aren't really voice actors but actors who have lended their voices to characters. Liam Neeson for example, excellent voice but he just used his normal voice. A voice actor is somone who can act with their voice not just speak... am I being clear or am I rambling for no reason?

Okay, the voice actors and for what voices I chose them.

Billy West, (Fry, Farnsworth, Zoidberg inter alia, Ren, Stimpy, Doug, many of the Loony Tunes.)
Rob Paulsen, (Pinky, Yakko.)
Maurice LaMarche, (Orson Welles, The Brain, a hundred Futurama characters including the Scary Door guy.)
Richard Steven Horvitz, (Zim, Raz from Psychonauts, many Nickelodeon and CN characters.)
Dan Castellaneta, (Do I even need to say?)
Patrick Warburton, (I know he pretty much only does the one voice but I think it's cool.)
Seth MacFarlane, (Again, don't need to say. Don't like Family Guy or his other shows but he's a decent voice actor for certain.)

Aaand many more, (David Herman for example,) but I'm not bothered to list 'em.

Not mentioning Mel Blanc because I shouldn't have to mention Mel Blanc. The guy is voice acting God, he has no equal.
Finally, some love for Castellaneta. He is to The Simpsons what Billy West is to Futurama: everyone, heh.
Plus his thousands of other voice acting jobs.

Toss Frank Welker, Phil Lamarr, and Breckin Meyer (many, many voices on Robot Chicken, most notably Boba Fett) and we got us a list. heh.

West is still my favorite though. Billy, not Adam.

I'll just put this here, in case anyone wants to look up these great voice actors:

I'd say Steve Blum just because of the sheer amount his voice can do - I've been playing Mass Effect 2 for the last week and only yesterday did I find out he was the voice of Grunt.

But for the best of just one voice I'd go with Crispin Freeman. He's the sole reason I give Too Human a 2/10 instead of a 1/10. He sounds like what suicide would be if it was somehow awesome. And I don't usually do this but it occurred to me the other day: Has anyone been watching Star Driver? Am I the only person who thinks Crispin Freeman's darker voice would make an awesome Sugata if it ever gets English dubbed?

Even though they've really only done a few roles as far as I know, I have to say Kevin Conroy, Tim Daly, and Susan Eisenberg are among my favorites. I also enjoy Mark Hamill and Mel Blanc.

Keith David : I've never heard him in a game but I love his voice in every show I've heard it in. Why hasn't he been a voice actor in games yet?

John DiMaggio: he's in everything I play. I can't escape him.

Patrick Stewart: I love his voice. What can I say.

Michael Bell: another voice I just HAVE to listen to.
Keith David not in games?!?! He's Captain Anderson in Mass Effect 1&2, Sgt. Foley in MW2, was in Saint Row 2, and Halo....He has been in games
Well sorry. I don't have a 360 so I haven't played mass effect that much. As for the others, not my type of games so I have no idea what's in them and what isn't. I'll just change to saying, "Why isn't he a voice actor in games I actually care about?

She started off with live-action, but Claudia Black can sound like pure sex when she wants to.

For dudes, Peter Cullen (for obvious reasons), and Keith David, who I'd never has to put on Barry White to get his wife in the mood.

Tony Jay WAS awesome. Simon Templeman is another name worth mentioning, as well as Michael Bell. The Legacy of Kain games worked for their amazing voice cast.

Tara Strong who did Raven in the Teen Titans cartoon. It may not be that "amazing" of a voice to do, but she made it fit the character very well.

And also Keith David when he did the voice of the Arbiter. His voice fit soooooooo well for him and it just made it all awesome.

Wtb more of him voice acting.

Claudia Black, and the guy who voiced Anders in Dragon Age: Awakening. I can't remember his name, but he was amazing!

To start with one that I don't think has been said yet...Gideon Emery. Oh and Danny Wallace (yeah his only voice work may have been in the Assassin's Creed series as Shaun, but he does it well and damnit he's fromn where I'm from!).

Basically anyone Bioware or Bethesda uses (which covers quite a lot of people already said)(including "celebrity voices like Liam Neeson and Patrick Stewart).

The whole cast of Futurama and Family Guy (interesting fact: Seth MacFarlane sung the opening song on Into The Wild Green Yonder episode)

and Mark Hamill, Tara Strong, Kevin Conroy and David Hayter. The first three obviously for Batman and David Hayter obviously as Snake

So it turns out I have a lot of "favourites" :p
