Your first anime

The first anime I watched was either Sailor Moon or Dragonball. The first one I watched a lot was Pokemon.

If manga counts (I didn't watch the 4kids-dubbed anime), Yugioh. Despite not watching the show, I was still more knowledgeable about the series than my fellow 3rd/4th graders.

Mind, I watched Pokemon with my brother before that, but my 7-year old brain disqualifies me there.

Yugioh. Because there isn't much to understand and that I was a huge fan of the card game.

I started with manga, when my friend showed me some when we were kids (It was One Piece). I guess my first anime would be Pokemon, if that counts as one. Otherwise One Piece.

My first anime was Pokemon. I was introduced to it pretty randomly, I was around six years old and one mornig I went into my parents' room to wake them up. My mom said "Pokemon is on channel 47", and even though I had no idea what it was, I went and watched it. It was the episode where Ash meets the kid who is trying to get 100 wins in a row, and had it not been for that day I probably wouldn't have read/watched the dozens of mangas/animes I've found in the past 10 years. Time well spent, if you ask me

Well excluding the ones from my childhood (Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh) my first one was Neon Genesis Evangelion, a very bad first choice. Then I followed up with Black Lagoon and I love it.

Beyblade, but I doubt I can recall any of the plot. It was aaaaaages ago, I only remember segments of the battles. I do remember it's intro though, funny that.
