I feel the same way about BMTH, some of their intros start off good, and then the guy starts singing and all the music turns to shit.

My first concert was, sadly, Ricky Martin. NOTE: I DID NOT WANT TO GO. I was too young to stay home by myself, and it was my sister's birthday so we all had to go. All I can remember is him sitting on a stool speaking Spanish, which made all the girls go wild even though they had no idea what he was saying, and he was clearly gay.

Then during a song this girl dancing beside me swung her arms and punched me in the eye. My mom couldn't hear me crying and calling her that I wanted to leave because i had just gotten a black eye...I mean I was probably 5 or 6 years old at the time.

I think my parents took me to a Rafi concert way back when, so that. First I remember being excited about? Barenaked Ladies, Everything to Everyone tour, 2003. Fuckin' A.

My first gig experiences were a couple of shows by smaller, local bands like Desmond And The Tutus. My first major concert was a festival headlined by Snow Patrol and Oasis. Snow Patrol were surprisingly brilliant. Oasis were unsurprisingly dull.

First gig was 2 weeks 17th birthday: Lostprophets in CIA, Cardiff. The support bands were The One (didn't hear their whole set, but they were meh), Hexes (awesome), and Kids in Glass Houses (amazing). Lostprophets were excellent live, despite a lot of people saying they were having an 'off day'. What the hell? We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan live was a brilliant experience! Also the night where I met my last girlfriend, which made that day one of the best days of my life.

Was supposed to see Alkaline Trio in Cardiff a couple of weeks ago, but my mate pulled out and I couldn't find anyone who was interested in going.

Still, I am seeing Muse next week. My second concert ever (I'm a gig noob). It will be amazing.

going to see them again in Nov supported by Enter Shikari, and seeing Avenged Sevenfold with Stone Sour I think on october 30th at hammersmith apollo (Y)

My first gig was going to see my uncle play at the Glasgow Barrowlands. I was 6 or 7? At the end, I walked right up to the huge burly guys guarding the stairs down to the bands changing room, and was all "let me past!" Fuckers caved.

Also fairly lol watching everyone queuing up whilst this 6 year old just wanders in through the guest list queue.

Ensiferum, Finntroll, Dark Funeral, Marduk and some other mediocre bands. Still, not bad for a concert cherry popping.

Technically, I saw Lifehouse live at the California State Fair like ten years ago. But I only knew one song by them and we weren't even in the stadium, we were just walking by, so I'm not gonna count it.

My first real concert was Relient K, opened by Owl City (before they were famous) and Runner Runner. The opening bands were... alright, I suppose, but Relient K was excellent. I gained some new favorite songs of all time that night, and my friend made a CD that had every song they performed, so that ruled.

In Flames live at Gröna Lund (an amusement park) in Stockholm. I was a bit late, so I was in the back. But I managed to climb up a tree and hang from there. Got great view of the band.

Hmm... My first real concert would've been Coldplay in the Phoenix Park (Dublin, Ireland).

It was fantastic.
I didn't see the first support act because I remember listening on youtube but not liking them
Elbow were the second support act; and I saw them; and they were awesome.
Coldplay came on and I managed to worm my way to about 10 feet back from the stage.

It was AWESOME!

It was a hell of a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure it was Death by Stereo and Teen Idols. I'm not even sure if either band is still around.
