Currently playing the Japanese Heart Gold and went for Hinoarashi (Cyndaquil) once again.

Like alot of others it was Pikachu from yellow

But my first pokemon card was Ninetails

And my first pokemon toy/plush was a Pikachu I got from a 7-11 but I was looking for Eevee or it's many evolutions (which im still looking for today, sadly)

i had red version and i gotted me a charmander except i didnt use hax to beat gyms like ash did in the show

Charmander, it turns into a freaking dragon. Hard to beat that. I remember being really stupid at the time, couldn't catch a goddamn anything. Strangely, the first one I caught was a Pikachu from the end of Veridian Forest (or whatever it's called). They've always been common for me, all my friends were jealous
