Because I want people to get a sense of "what the fuck" at my funeral.
YES! And a certain part of this video is appropriate if I am able to be fired into the sun for my funeral...

5oul on D!splay - Daiki Kasho

Members of my family might be surprised, but my friends won't.

Still Alive...
Then I suddenly reveal I replaced my organic vessel with a robotic one and thus have acquired some form of immortality and start/continue taking over the world, the universe and all the other places too.

Maybe I'll put the Song of Storms on the playlist too...

Poor Little Rich Boy - Regina Spektor
So everyone can get my opinions on them in a poignant song
Samson - Regina Spektor
For when I'm lowered into the grave, this song is the song I love most in life and it would be fitting for it preside over my death too.
Ludvig Van Beethoven's Funeral March
When the guests leave, for fairly obvious reasons :)

Red Dwarf did this same thing in the very first episode. :D

OT: I dunno, I guess the song "Going Home". As much as I'd like to do something silly or fun, it isn't really appropriate for like, my own funeral to do it, so I'd rather just. Leave people thinking kindly about it all instead of walking out of the cemetery (sp?) thinking "what a weird little ***** she turned out to be" or something like that.
It's my death, I'd like there to be at least a facsimile of reverence involved in it all.

Edit: The one I'm specifically thinking of is this one--

Never really thought about it but Cancer Bats - We Are The Undead might be pretty funny...

In all seriousness: The Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound

As stated above, "still alive," or "always look on the bright side of life"

Maybe the Loony Tunes theme tune.

If I had to have something more suitable, "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel.
