Set that coffin on fire and lower it down while the theme from Terminator 2 plays.

I will have three brass chorales played. The chorales would all be from the first full score I ever purchased. They're all good, and very nice, if not all minor in key.

The prelude would be this song:

Next I'll have a some blues played. Maybe "Got My Mojo Workin'" or something. Always need a sing along.

Then, definitely "C'est la Vie" by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Also a sing along. Played on solo guitar, with maybe a keyboard solo in the middle where it belongs.

The chorales would be placed in between each speaker, but my favorite chorale would be saved as the postlude. "Freuet Euch, Ihr Christen", by Bach.

I have nothing to say this song is just awesome.
Voltaire <3 More people need to have heard of him.

As for me, Leave Out All the Rest -- Linkin Park, say what you like, it's a good song imo. That and Wake Me Up When September Ends -- Green Day, assuming I die in September, that is.

Probably "Take a Bow" by Muse.

I just think it would be awesome funeral music.

Or Dethklok's "Awaken", just to mess with people.

And maybe have the "I'll be back" line played as my coffin is lowered into the ground.

Will I return as an undead lich? Who knows?

Red Dwarf did this same thing in the very first episode. :D

Ha, someone got the reference.

Actually now that I really think about it I'd have to go with A Glorious Dawn from Symphony of Science.

Won't really make sense if I die of old age, but that's not the point.

I'll always be young inside...?

Either that, or for a more serious tone:

Well assuming I go before my wife I hope she picks an unpopular song people don't hear very much. It sucks when a song you hear all the time just reminds you of someone you lost.

I don't plan to have a funeral. I plan to be cremated, turned into a brick and then thrown through Blizzard HQ's window.

But, I guess if the people mourning me want to have a little get together, they can play my Ipod in the background.

Edit: Or if I really wanted to mess with some heads, I could order them to play Hanson's 'Man From Milwaukee.' (Yeah, I listen to Hanson.)
