Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the only game I've played so far this year that actually came out this year. Loving it so far though
I forgot about Halo Wars 2, it was pretty good but it felt more like a teaser for Halo 6.Laggyteabag said:Well, I've only played Halo Wars 2 and Mass Effect Andromeda, so hopefully neither.
Teaser as in by being a Halo game, or teaser in terms of plot?BabyfartsMcgeezaks said:I forgot about Halo Wars 2, it was pretty good but it felt more like a teaser for Halo 6.Laggyteabag said:Well, I've only played Halo Wars 2 and Mass Effect Andromeda, so hopefully neither.
We've already had a full year's worth of games. All the 2017 games are out already.Estarc said:I've always been of the opinion that choosing a GOTY this early in the year is premature to be honest. But considering that games coming out at this time of year are often forgotten by the end of the year I do see some merit in celebrating them now.
Lol I will admit this year has been front loaded with a bunch of awesome games. Finding the time can be pretty hard.gsilver said:We've already had a full year's worth of games. All the 2017 games are out already.
Wait! There's more?
Slow down! I can't find enough hours!
It's pretty much a set-up for Halo 6. It ties together with the ending of Halo 5 and gives you an idea on what to expect for Halo 6, I won't spoil unless you're not planning on buying HW2.Hawki said:Teaser as in by being a Halo game, or teaser in terms of plot?BabyfartsMcgeezaks said:I forgot about Halo Wars 2, it was pretty good but it felt more like a teaser for Halo 6.Laggyteabag said:Well, I've only played Halo Wars 2 and Mass Effect Andromeda, so hopefully neither.
If the latter, please say so, but don't spoil it please.![]()
CritialGaming said:Horizon: Zero Dawn is Game of the year for me, by far. That game has easily been the best experience I've had in quite a while and stands up there next to the likes of my all-time favorite games.
The more I played the more I liked the game, rating it an 8.5/10 and as AngryJoe would say, it get an easy badass seal of approval. It's certainly got some faults, but for a brand new IP, I don't think they could have made a more polished and more fun experience. The world is great and I look forward to seeing what comes in the story DLC and any future sequels.
In my Nier first impressions thread, I actually wasn't impressed with the game at all. So much so that I haven't even bothered to go back and play it further. I know I should, because everyone says it is super good. But everytime i look at it, I just go "meh". I have too many games on my plate at the moment to go back to get through Nier right now.hanselthecaretaker said:CritialGaming said:Horizon: Zero Dawn is Game of the year for me, by far. Didn't you say you liked Nier: Automata more in another thread? Or did you go back to Horizon and end up liking it more?
