Your guilty pleasures

Musically, i assume most of us describe ourselves as being into one genre of music.
For example, i'd say i'm into Metal, more notably Deathcore/Deathmetal/Tech Metal

However, i also like other genres that i like to think of as my guilty pleasure,
For example, i'm heavily into David Bowie and Elton John, which really doesn't inkeep with my "metal" image, and thus i tend to play this down when talking to others about my musical tastes.

I was wondering if and of you are similar to this.
If so, what are your guilty pleasures? (Musically, and in general )

That is so similar to me. Theres something about receiving a package that makes me feel so good
I wouldn't call making people laugh one of my guilty pleasures though, i do that all the time, and i'm good at it xD

I never said you should; its great to see people can still be frank about themselves.

But as for why...why does anyone hide who they are; depression, misery, confusion, embarrasment most of all.

For me its the last one; I'm very different online than I am in real life, even if on this forum I am a bit of a miserable bugger.

I'm also fairly different in real life than on here.

That's mainly because if I acted like I do on here in real life, it'd just be awkward.
Believe me, I've tried.

It's easier to be a different person online though, as in most cases you don't have to look at the person you're talking to, or come in contact with them reguarly.
And most people online won't know anything about you, and will take anything you say, do or the way you act at face value, and assume that it is who you are.

This is why talking to people you like is so much easier online, as you don't have to look at their reactions and body language.
(If you hadn't guessed, i'm a kinda shy person in real life)

I'm not really sure if there's much of anything that qualifies as a guilty pleasure for me. There are things that I like that even I think I'm silly for liking, but I don't particularly try to hide them or feel guilty about them.
