I can drink till I pass out on the floor, but never get a hangover, so I really couldn't say.

I've never experienced a hangover, even after the heaviest of binges. I guess I'm just awesome like that.

I have to drink a hell of a lot and have a mix of spirits, beers and ciders to get a hangover but bacon sandwiches cure them when I do.

I don't get drunk because it's bad for you and you deserve to feel bad.

Chugging a glass of water after every two beers is supposed to be foolproof, though. Two glasses of water in the morning will clean out any effects that got through.

I don't actually get hangovers, but drinking water while/shortly after drinking the booze helps a lot in preventing or mitigating the hangover.

Best cure for a hangover is fatty foods and sleep. After a night of excessive drinking, get some sleep and have a large fatty breakfast the next morning. Also drink some water between beers (or drink of choice) helps to handle your alcohol better over time.

Cup of black coffee, orange juice and lots and lots of cigarettes.

Oh and a very hot and long shower in the morning.

I did exactly that after the two hangovers I ever had and it worked wonders. I didn't do the water-during-drinking though as I think I wanted to punish myself. During regular drinking I never drink enough to get a hangover.

The breakfast I used:

- Take three eggs, scramble them in a mug and season lightly with a wee bit of salt and some pepper.

- Slightly fry up three big slices of bacon or ham.

- Dump the eggs on the bacon/ham before it gets crispy.

- Turn the omelette over when it's ready, add a metric fuckton of cheese slices on top of it.

- Let the omelette simmer until the cheese is all melted, you don't want the bottom to burn.

- Cut it into four pieces and serve them in two's on two thick, big slices of white bread.

- Serve with whole milk (no substitute) and an optional black coffee.

Instant fuckin' success.

If it's a work day? Pint of water on the bedside cabinet and a full English when I drag myself out of bed.

If it's not a work day? Hair of the dog and a stroll in the Lakes.

Pure orange juice, a decent fried breakfast and then a nice long walk in the countryside with my camera and long lens. Works every time.

If it's a bad hangover (Jagermeister or scotch) and it's a Sunday, bed and motorsports on the telly.....with a large mug of tea!

I tend to not get hangovers anymore, worst i get is somewhat upset stomach on occasion which is easily fixed with something nice and greasy.

Old hangover cures i used were ginger ale or hair of the dog (usually a screwdriver). Cousin of mine tried drinking a prairie oyster and said it worked, tasted like death shat down his throat but it worked.

Bacon, fried egg (runny yoke damn it), cheap shitty sausage, hash brown. Lash it in a sandwich, have some coffee, then maybe take it easy or nap a little and then it'll be easier but its been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time since I've had a brutal hangover. I get a bit rough sometimes but I don't get hammered anymore so I don't wake up feeling like I'm on the brink of death.

I have try these hangover pills and these are very effective to overcome hangover because these pills contain Kudzu, Ginseng and Asparagine that take care of an accelerated detoxification progress. Besides, Ginseng provides extra energy - handy when you want to enjoy a night on the town!

For me, it's an oversized bottle of Gatorade and most of an English fry-up after the fact, or their equivalents before or during the course of a night.

Unhealthy, but it works.

That's... actually exactly what you need. Like, there are studies that show that a bacon sandwich is a great hangover cure because it contains salt, protein, and carbs, the three things your body loses and needs to have replenished after a heavy night of drinking. Well, that and water, anyway.

I almost never get a hangover, because I make sure I stay hydrated and, if it's really a heavy night of drinking, eat food that replenishes the nutrients that I'm losing, but if I do get one, I drink gatorade and eat salty, fatty, meaty foods with carbs. It works.

Sports drinks, and the toilet bowl.
I just let it all out first.
Also salty food that helps retain the fluid I drink.

If possible, I will ease myself into the hangover by drinking more alcohol as soon as I wake up. If not possible, a bit of an exercise will do just fine. Followed by a hearty breakfast.

This thread is ancient, why did it get resurected? What what?

Milk is still the one.
