Mine would be invisible, and it wouldn't be contained in a force field. It would fire beams at the speed of light which would go in perfectly straight lines. It would have a nearly infinite range.

Also it would be huge and mounted on my spaceship OH WAIT! That's a laser. Yeah I'll go with that.

The S in Saber was capitalized so I'm picking the character Saber from Fate Stay Night. I'd be much better off with her as a bodyguard anyway since I'd inevitably slice off one of my own limbs with a lightsaber.

This site, RandomSabers.com [http://www.randomsabers.com/index.php] has some excellent custom saber hilts. They're all really cool. Sadly, the site is no longer taking orders.

If given the choice, I would probably choose Pantera [http://www.randomsabers.com/saber.php?name=Pantera] (gallery page 15, 2nd column, 5th row) with a slightly longer hilt making it a two-hand-and-a-half length. I prefer a slightly longer hilt to allow me some more force to my swing if need be. The blade itself would be blue.

Basically, a regular lightsaber with a second blade coming out at a 45 degree angle from the first. Only one Jedi has been shown wielding one thus far.

I'm sorry but you can't have a black light sabre. That's just wrong. It's a light sabre.

It worked in Force Unleashed. Besides, you can't use the argument "black is the absence of light", because I'm pretty sure that LightSabers are Plasma, not light, considering that they stop at some point and repel one another.
