Star Citizen, probably, even if only to find out how well it works in the end.

It's either going to be Game Of The Century or the biggest disappointment since Duke Nukem Forever. There is no middle ground.

Persona's Q & Ultimax. Maybe Alpha Sapphire as well.

I'd like to say 'No Man's Sky', but that will depend on the system specs when it comes out. My PC isn't in top shape and I haven't bought a PS4 (yet).

I'm [still] counting down the days until Tales of Xillia 2, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Persona Q, and Pokemon Omega Ruby comes out in the US...

Other than that, I would also say that I'm waiting until Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, and Smash Bros. for Wii U to come out... However, I still lack a Wii U and I'm waiting until I hear about a [potential] Smash Bros. Wii U Bundle coming out as well, I guess...

Hyrule Warriors: Especially now that it looks like Ganondorf is going to be playing the role of Lu Bu. I've been pretty excited for Hyrule Warriors since the reveal but the more I see of it, the more I want it. Even though the Water Temple of Ocarina of Time will be a playable area of the game.

Super Smash Bros Four (both consoles): I'm not a die-hard fan, I don't play competitively but I still love the concept and have had fun with the previous entries. Mega Man looks like he'll be fun to play as and it'll be nice to have a portable version to play around with.

The Devil's Third and, Bayonetta: Both are inexplicable Wii U exclusives and they look like they'd be fun to play. I've played a bit of the first Bayonetta and know it's fun already. B2 looks like it'll also be pretty fun to play and it looks like it too will have wild set-pieces. Devil's Third however has a weird 1st/3rd person fusion thing that I just haven't seen done before. It also looks like it'll be fun and the multiplayer looks pretty unique too...even if I'll mostly just spend time being murdered and making propaganda.

Star Fox & Zelda U: I don't know anything about these other than the fact that they exist. I want them though...there were teasers at E3 sure but I need hot, hard, facts darn-it.

There are a ton of games that are out now and which have been out for a couple of years that I still haven't played...Games like Far Cry 3 & Blood Dragon, Dishonored, Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, Donkey Kong's Tropical Freeze, Thief, Wolfenstien: The New One, InFamous: Second Son...I have Dishonored: GOTY being shipped to me right-stat-now but I won't have it until this weekend.

Evolve: On the fence about this one. The concept is awesome, but the whole "built for DLC" thing alarms me. I'd wait, but this looks like the type of game that will drop players fast, especially on a console.
Not to mention it seems to be extremely similar to Left 4 Dead, which means it will pretty much be multiplayer focused. This game can automatically go fuck itself if it comes out at full retail price.

In order of most anticipated:
1. Witcher 3: I loved the first two games. The third one looks awesome and I can't wait to see Yennefer and Ciri. I am just crazy excited to play this game.

2. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire: I'm just addicted to Pokemon. There can never be enough.

3. Hyrule Warriors: I haven't played a warriors game in ages though I've kept meaning to get back into it. Think the game looks really cool and I'm looking forward to a solid couch co-op game with my housemates.

4. Borderlands Pre-Sequel: I like the borderlands series. Had a blast co-oping 1 & 2 with my partner. Looking forward to more.

5. Bayonetta 2: First Bayonetta was a blast. Pretty exciting we're getting an updated version of Bayonetta 1 with new features for the the WiiU too.

There's other stuff I'm looking forward to like DA:I and Smash Bros but not nearly as much as the games on the list. The above are day one(/week one whatever) buys, the other stuff, I'll get to when I get to.

Splatoon, Soma, Sunset Overdrive (even though I'll most likely never play it), and No Man's Sky.

...I don't even own any of the consoles those games are for. And probably won't for a really, really long time. Oh well, at least I have Pokemon OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire and Smash 4 to look forward to for holiday season. If you'd asked me this question a year ago, my list would probably be three times as long. But the major game releases this year have made me salty in regards to anticipation and "hype". By now I'm more or less ignoring prerelease press altogether.

Sunset Overdrive because it's looking more fun with every bit of new information. It's giving me a Dead Rising 3 vibe in that the world looks brown and sometimes miserable but the gameplay is still quirky and fun (or looks quirky and fun in the case of SO), and I was one of the four non-critic people in the world who loved Dead Rising 3.

Master Chief collection. Yes, blatant money grab. Yes, I have issues with 343 Industries putting their shitty fan fiction in Halo 2 through terminals like they did with Halo 1. Yes, I could just play Halo 2 on my 360 because backwards compatibility is awesome and the Grunts look like Grunts and not four foot plastic toys, and the Jackals look like birds and not reptile dinosaurs (seriously, fuck Halo 4). But still, I want to see Halo 2 with shiny current gen graphics, because Halo 2 is the Halo game I think aged the worst. Halo: CE you can at least excuse because it was an early release game for the Xbox, but Halo 2 pushed the realistic graphics bullshit of the end of that generation. Halo 3 still looks fine, so I imagine this new look will age well.

Bayonetta 2. I'll probably be getting a Wii U in the next few months and Bayonetta 2 is one of my must have games for the system. I also hear that Bayonetta 1 comes with it, which is even better.

Zelda U because it will be my first "new" Zelda game (assuming I get it before the next one, which is likely) and I do want to sample this series.

WoW: Warlords of Draenor. I like what I see so far, even if they've nerfed the Shaman's Lightning Bolt so you can't move while using it.

Kingdom Heats 3: As a longtime KH fan, the fact that it was announced and shown has got me salivating.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare: After the slight disappointment I got from Ghosts (its story wasn't as good as it could have been) I am awaiting what this one has in store.

Pokemon Omega Ruby: This is were my adventure in the tall grass began, and coming back to it in its new format is my little slice of nostalgia.

Assassin's Creed Rouge: I like the concept that the protagonist is an assassin turned templar.

No Man's Sky: While I doubt it'll get me to buy a new system, I am interested in it and will keep tabs on it. Lord knows that the gaming websites I visit will.

Tom Clancy's the Division: It is possibly one of few games that will get me to go next gen, and I like the idea behind it.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - I love BioWare, I love Dragon Age, I was not disappointed by Dragon Age 2, and I am excited for Inquisition. Bring it on. (Also, super excited to see how Hawke and The Warden interact with each other, or the story in general).
No Man's Sky - Happy that it is coming to PC, and I am loving the idea of a procedurally generated space game. This excites me.
Halo 2 Anniversary - On the fence as to if im going to get an XbOne. The footage that I have seen looks great, but the constant back and forth of "PC PORT! NO PC PORT! THERE MIGHT BE! EVENTUALLY!" makes me unsure.
Alien Isolation - I loved Alien, and I am dying for a good Alien game. Please don't suck.

The final release version of Wasteland 2. As a kickstarter backer, I have access to the beta, but I hate playing betas. Wake me up when the thing goes gold.

The Metro Redux games. I never got around to playing the originals despite them being on my to-play list for forever, so I may as well experience the best versions of them.

Assassin's Creed: Rogue. I loved the sailing aspect of Black Flag, and I think there's some serious mileage to be had out of the arctic terrain the game is set it. I wish I could say I was excited about Unity, to counterbalance some of the unnecessary vitriol it's been receiving since E3 if nothing else, but I'm just... not. It looks dull. Like yet another Ezio game, but with slightly more angry peasants and slightly less interesting protagonist.

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remake. If nothing else, it will fill the hole in my little OCD heart that the lack of balance in Blaziken having a mega form but not the other Gen III starters created. THEY MUST ALL BE EQUALLY GOOD CHOICES!

Arkham Knight. I'm a sucker for a good trilogy.

Alien Isolation is the closest game that I'm looking forward to.
Dragon Age: Inquisition shortly there-after.
After that I'll likely have to wait until next year for when Arkham Knight comes out before I pick up another game.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, the guys at Atlus USA have shown that they are confident in how kick ass their game is. They have been live streaming gameplay sessions, and they let people at EVO sit down and play it (they also streamed that). So far I've been nothing but impressed and September 30th can't seem any further away!

Well, if I had or was coming close to having a Wii U, there would be a lot more titles. Particularly Yoshi's Woolly World. I can only hope the Game Grumps make it a KEY sequel.

So right now, as I'm stuck in last gen on consoles and in 2002 on my PC, the only thing I'm looking forwards to is Far Cry 4.

I don't have enough information on Bloodborn yet and the newest Pokemon remakes are from of my second least-favorite generation, plus, remakes.

I know FC4 is going to have optimization problems for the PS3 due to the system being older, but I'm hoping it will be as much of a blast as 3 was.

Apparently, if this thread is anything to go by, I'm alone in my anticipation of the following:

Homeworld: Shipbreakers: Really, what do I need to say here? It's (hopefully) the triumphant return of the one of the best RTS franchises in the industry. I'm incredibly eager to return to the story-verse of Homeworld.

Grey Goo: This one looks to be a fairly interesting mix-up in the standard RTS formula. Three extraordinarily distinct species; certainly far more distinct than we tend to see in other RTS games; with a wealth of play-styles, abilities, and tech. As well, a wealth of environmental events and interactions and a stronger emphasis on strategy, planning, and unit management rather than on resource collection and management. Helps, too, that the team behind it have some fairly high-tier pedigree in RTS design.

Firewatch: This is set to be the first game release by Campo Santo; a small indie start-up featuring the talents behind such games as Mark of the Ninja, The Cave, and The Walking Dead: Season 1. And really, baring in mind the team behind the game and the description of the premise being...
"Firewatch is a single-player first-person video game where you, as a man named Henry, explore the Wyoming wilderness after taking a summer job as a fire lookout. What is supposed to be a peaceful respite from your complicated life takes a turn when you start to question some of the things that are happening to you. Your only human connection is over a handheld radio, which you?ll use to speak with Delilah, your supervisor, about the things both of you are experiencing."

- and -

"Perched high atop a mountain, it?s your job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe. An especially hot and dry summer has everyone on edge. Your supervisor, a woman named Delilah, is available to you at all times over a small, handheld radio ? and is your only contact with the world you?ve left behind.

But when something strange draws you out of your lookout tower and into the world, you?ll explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making interpersonal choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have."

how can I NOT be excited? A mystery-based, story-driven first-person adventure/exploration game from the people behind TWD:S1?

Yes please.

Routine: This is the first game from the small, UK-based team called Lunar Software. The game is essentially a claustrophobic, psychological horror title. A quick-and-dirty description might sound like "imagine Outlast meets Dead Space with a heavy 80's and NASA/Cosmonaut theme".

Sadly, there hasn't been much in the way of new info on the project for some time now and I fear it may be dead in the water. Here's hoping it's not.
