Well, the mouse-problem was the last drop of water, so to speak. I mean, one shitty thing happened to me after another, and they just piled up. LoL really makes me frustrated/angry very often, moreso than any shooter has ever been able to. I suppose i didn´t really go into an all-out ragemode, i maybe just bashed my mouse against the table once or twice and said "damn". But for me, it`s the raw emotions and the horrible headache that followed that made the event memorable. And that i was able to hold it in like that (as in, i felt like i should start screaming, and i haven`t done that while playing a game online or offline before). I`ve gotten pissed at the game (and my mouse) so many times, i keep wondering why i still play it.Nuuu said:wait... what happened? I feel like you left out part of the story of what happened when your mouse lagged.Owlslayer said:Uh, the biggest one I´ve had in a while was when i played League of Legends.
I can´t even remember what exactly happened, but i was playing with a friend and basically, lady luck threw poo onto my windscreen, if ya get what i mean. And yeah, at one point, when my mouse lagged for a second (it does that fairly often, something about the wire being old, gotta buy a new one), i almost snapped. The feeling was so horrible, and at the very moment when i wanted to scream and held it in, my head started doing some pretty epic aching. So yeah, my whole day was kinda ruined.
Lovely.
With me, it was with WoW, i was doing a dungeon and the internet cut out, got angry and threw Nail Clippers at my moniter, which put a small indentation which is still in my computer today. Most of the time i usually just quietly mope to myself and rage quit.

I'm sorry, but you are not allowed to complain about the difficulty of an Atlus game on hard mode. While I'm largely use to the level of challenge, that's because a long line of 'em has desensitized me and I'm aware that for many others these games are tough as nails. That said, Nocturne is even harder than all the Persona games and you willingly exposed yourself to the harder difficulty on purpose? C'mon... You KNOW you're going to die alot.krazykidd said:Whats a 1% run?him over there said:Game: Metroid Fusion
Doing a 1% run and beating a boss finally on my fiftieth try only to be killed by the core X and its lazy chase algorithm.
On topic . Biggest is playing SMT: nocturne hard mode . This is a brutal dungeoncrawler . Now when you are 5 steps away from a save point , only to get a random encounter , and the opponent back atracks you and ONLY attacks the hero ( when the maincharacter dies it is game over no matter what) and kills you in one turn . This happens quite often too , always makez me rage . I did manage to beat the game on har eventually , but it was not easy at all.
For me it's the whole goddamn game. I must have got that game when I was about 7.... I finally got around to completing the normal difficulty on my 14th birthday. Fuck I hated it by then..... But I played the hard-mode in a strange form of self-harm. Honestly, I have no idea why I played the hard difficulty..Berenzen said:Fire Emblem: Hector Hard Mode- the whole damned game. Oh my God. I just hid at the bottom of the stairs until he turned his back on me, then cast Poison Cloud, wait, rinse, repeat. Takes half an hour but he never sees you. I tried to fight him normally once or twice and got freaking owned. That was the problem with a lot of the Demon's Souls bosses--they were either really hard to kill with melee, or much easier to kill in cheap ways like this. Luckily Dark Souls fixes that problem for the most part.King of Asgaard said:Four words perfectly describe this thread:

I second this, much rage to be had.White_Lama said:Dead or Alive 4.
Fucking turqoise last boss.
Hate her so much. Broke 2 controllers, tv-remote and the game disc due to her.
