Playing the first Godfather game for the pc was doing one of the warehouse clearing(like a stronghold taking) when i was down to the last guy who was hiding behind boxes since you have no grenades i had to dash in and shoot unfortunately he had a shotgun and he killed me first(which happened alot in this game).

I slammed my fist in frustration due to the fact if you die you have to do the whole thing over again which caused the game to crash at which point I was so pissed I ejected the game and slammed the disk on the edge of my desk till it broke.

When I die off a bad checkpoint. CoD games especially like to checkpoint me right as someone lobs a grenade at me. I die the first time because I fail to dodge, then reload to find myself about two thirds of a second from a grenade exploding under my foot. No controller is safe...

Uh, the biggest one I´ve had in a while was when i played League of Legends.
I can´t even remember what exactly happened, but i was playing with a friend and basically, lady luck threw poo onto my windscreen, if ya get what i mean. And yeah, at one point, when my mouse lagged for a second (it does that fairly often, something about the wire being old, gotta buy a new one), i almost snapped. The feeling was so horrible, and at the very moment when i wanted to scream and held it in, my head started doing some pretty epic aching. So yeah, my whole day was kinda ruined.
Lovely.
wait... what happened? I feel like you left out part of the story of what happened when your mouse lagged.

With me, it was with WoW, i was doing a dungeon and the internet cut out, got angry and threw Nail Clippers at my moniter, which put a small indentation which is still in my computer today. Most of the time i usually just quietly mope to myself and rage quit.
Well, the mouse-problem was the last drop of water, so to speak. I mean, one shitty thing happened to me after another, and they just piled up. LoL really makes me frustrated/angry very often, moreso than any shooter has ever been able to. I suppose i didn´t really go into an all-out ragemode, i maybe just bashed my mouse against the table once or twice and said "damn". But for me, it`s the raw emotions and the horrible headache that followed that made the event memorable. And that i was able to hold it in like that (as in, i felt like i should start screaming, and i haven`t done that while playing a game online or offline before). I`ve gotten pissed at the game (and my mouse) so many times, i keep wondering why i still play it.

Final Fantasy 7. No auto-save, and I had played that game all day. A little over ten hours of stuff done, and then I died in some hack using boss battle. Nekk minnit, I realised all that I had lost. I raged so hard, I did not play it for the next month and a half. Granted, I was eleven at the time (After finally managing to find a copy. Back then, that game was as rare as a nun orgy).

huh... this is hard for me... recently Uncharted 3 has gotten me a bit frustrated, man, fuck the two wave encounters, they are SO ANNOYING!

older ones... I would have to say that the dothack games gave me some frustration, but that was just from not knowing how to beat the incredibly difficult and awesome bosses. I also raged at final fantasy a few times over the years...

In Halo Reach multiplayer when the vehicles or power weapons for my team get stolen I grind my teeth in rage. Also whenever one of my teammates decides to be an asshole and team kill.

Started playing that today and just...oh god. I'm quite patient with games, but no. Just no.

But my more common source of rage is in how often I forget to save. I'll be playing Skyrim or Fallout or whathaveyou and do a bunch of awesome stuff and then die terribly.
And then reload to about...20, 30 minutes into the past.
I usually turn the thing off at that point.

OT: KotOR II, I love the game, but sometimes, sometimes it drives me mad (the rushed unpolished incomplete areas)

Wesker being faster than he should be in UMVC3, i just get out of a corner to get some distance. Nope! Say hello to a basic combo that does far too much damage.

Seriously if they'd just nerf one little thing either his speed, overall damage, his artifical combo lengthening bullshit he'd be fine. Instead he gets all of these things plus decent health.

Oh and Hawkeye's win animation where he backflips around the stage fills me with rage for some reason. And whatever he says when he gets downed (MVP?) gives me entirely too much joy.

You just got bested by a lawyer you dick, where're your backflips now!

And on the other side of the spectrum, i feel sorry for all the Phoenix players. Can she have her health back now, please?

Having paid for Tekken 6, I've regretted buying some games in the past but I felt genuinely angry at having wasted my money on this poor excuse for a Tekken game, Scenario mode can die the slowest most painful death imaginable, who's idea was it to have the fun little bonus mode in previous Tekkens be the main mode in the new one? It'd be like if they took the darts mini game from GTA IV and made it the main focus in GTA V.

I think it annoyed me because I trusted them, I literally did no research on it before I bought it, I mean it's a Tekken game, a fighting game, how the hell can you screw that up? Select character, character prologue, fight other characters, fight mini boss character, fight boss character, epilogue. Now isn't that fucking easy?

Game: Metroid Fusion
Doing a 1% run and beating a boss finally on my fiftieth try only to be killed by the core X and its lazy chase algorithm.
Whats a 1% run?

On topic . Biggest is playing SMT: nocturne hard mode . This is a brutal dungeoncrawler . Now when you are 5 steps away from a save point , only to get a random encounter , and the opponent back atracks you and ONLY attacks the hero ( when the maincharacter dies it is game over no matter what) and kills you in one turn . This happens quite often too , always makez me rage . I did manage to beat the game on har eventually , but it was not easy at all.
I'm sorry, but you are not allowed to complain about the difficulty of an Atlus game on hard mode. While I'm largely use to the level of challenge, that's because a long line of 'em has desensitized me and I'm aware that for many others these games are tough as nails. That said, Nocturne is even harder than all the Persona games and you willingly exposed yourself to the harder difficulty on purpose? C'mon... You KNOW you're going to die alot.

Fire Emblem: Hector Hard Mode- the whole damned game. Nobody got a good level.
For me it's the whole goddamn game. I must have got that game when I was about 7.... I finally got around to completing the normal difficulty on my 14th birthday. Fuck I hated it by then..... But I played the hard-mode in a strange form of self-harm. Honestly, I have no idea why I played the hard difficulty..

Sacred Stones was so much easier, and because of that fact I never rated it as highly.

Oh my God. I just hid at the bottom of the stairs until he turned his back on me, then cast Poison Cloud, wait, rinse, repeat. Takes half an hour but he never sees you. I tried to fight him normally once or twice and got freaking owned. That was the problem with a lot of the Demon's Souls bosses--they were either really hard to kill with melee, or much easier to kill in cheap ways like this. Luckily Dark Souls fixes that problem for the most part.

I usually turn off the game if I begin to get heated, but my biggest ever rage would have to have been in TF2 in a LAN game at school. Friend of mine used to laugh in your face and physically prod you whenever he killed you. Trying to hide your anger just makes it explode stronger and that was a pretty shit day I was having to begin with. I ended up standing up and screaming at him with tears running down my face. Not a moment I'm proud of.
