Is that a G3 assult rifle with a sniper scope or am I just using my Call of Duty 4 videogame "knowledge" to lable a gun that resembles it?White_Hawk said:![]()
do noobs counts as characters? i know its my thread but still...
Not reading the rest of the thread but VOTE NUMBER 5. I really have no specific reason to not like him, except for the fanboys. One of my guy friends wants to have his kids i swear and i get so SICK of hearing about him. If there were some redeeming quality to him, maybe i'd like him a bit more, but there really isn't anything good or bad about him except the fanboys. The Night Shade said:Me too,Gordon is overratedWhite_Hawk said:i agree with your concurance, gordon can takes striders down with a crowbar if he wanted to...he just dosent.Aura Guardian said:I concur with thisFargoDog said:Gordon Freeman. He's just a mute with no personality, no development and no interesting backstory. The only thing people can attach to him is his appearance, and that only ever appears in game art, and yet so many people treat him like he's the Coming of Gaming Jesus.
Reaver's arguments in court and synopses of royal decisions were the funniest things in the entire game to me.Rouse said:Actually I kind of liked him at some point in 2, his sense of humor does have a charm in it, but in 3 he's even more annoying. They simply made him to be a hated character. I mean not a little but far far worse than 2.Tdc2182 said:"This hurts you"Daystar Clarion said:I don't know, I suppose I'll go wi-Assuming direct control.
Oh... I was uh... I was not aware.
OT: Fuckin Reaver from Fable 2.
The fact that you couldn't kill him, and the fact that he basically ruined the ending pissed me off. Hopefully that asshat dies in Fable 3.
Don't tell me though.
Aye, it was with him my hatred for J-RPGs began. Used to play Final Fantasy all the time when I was a kid, and while I do like FFX a lot, it would have been way more awesome without that whining brat(and Rikku for that matter).marcogodinho said:Tidus from Final Fantasy X. The most obnoxious FF main character to date IMHO.
well the guy who created this got inspired for some reasonSean.Devlin said:That's so cute! I could, and have, go on for days about why, but lets just say that the ONLY way I could feel anything but hate for her is if she was burned alive, healed, dunked in lava, healed, then thrown into a meat grinder. I HATE HER THAT FUCKING MUCH!
I'm not playing the game, but I'm sure I'd like her, more than Rikku at least.
THANK YOU!!! I seriously don't know why everyone says he's one of the best game characters created. Oh wait, I do. It's because everyone loves half life and that's all they can think about.FargoDog said:Gordon Freeman. Seriously.

I know I've been ninja'd many times, probably, but yes. To this day, I'm still doubting Slippy's gender... and also, very annoying. Worst part of Starfox 64.Mr. Omega said:Slippy. F***ing. Toad.
Dont you get it, YOU are Gordon Freeman.FargoDog said:Gordon Freeman. Seriously.

I've played Half-Life a lot, and I love the games, but I've never considered myself being Gordon Freeman. If you're doing some role-playing in a role-playing game I can get it, eventhough I find it incredibly awkward, but in shooters it doesnt make much sense to me.Grey_Focks said:Thought: All these people saying they hate Gordon Freeman actually hate themselves? Would explain why they hate a character whose only purpose is for the player to project themselves onto him, atleast.
