Somehow I've not yet ragequit Skyrim, but I disappoint-quit all the time. Even the main features of the DLC don't work during normal use.

Even Obsidian didn't do this bad. Any other company out there seems to consider it a bare minimum requirement to have the main quests in the game play out without game-breaking bugs, or for the main advertised features in the DLC to work, or for the game to not cause system crashes multiple times a day simply when browsing inventory or loading frequently-visited areas. But for Bethesda, this is too much.

Metal gear solid Peacewalker.
Mild spoilers but it's metal gear I think only one of them has lacked this.

The torture scene..
The button mashing hell
I thought I was going to break my ps3 controller.
I actually got a blister..
I haven't had a blister from gaming since horrible joystick wobbling rayman rabbids.

Demon's Souls, after having got pretty far and really enjoying the game I was repeatedly invaded by a high-level melee troll. I have no time for that.
I keep hearing stories of players getting invaded. How come I've never been invaded? Is it a server thing?

Just old game syndrome, methinks. I've only ever been invaded that once and it's was the most annoying thing ever at 2am when I was just having a chilled out level grind sesh; it literally ruined my character on that file. When I asked for advice everyone said "just turn the online off", but that means no authentic ghosts / indicators of death or floor messages. I just traded it in and upgraded my Dragon's Dogma to Dark Arisen, put it on the hardest setting, put my TV on stupidly dark and had a far more challenging / fulfilling experience than DS.

I just rage quit Dark Souls 2. After dying three times to Dragonslayer Ornstein 2.0 I began to just get killed by the regular enemies. A few deaths later, I couldn't even make it out of the bonfire area due to the one shitty dude standing right out front; taunting me with his derpy stare.

After backpeddling off of a ledge, I decided to call it there.

Dark Souls, I love you more than any other game, but my god do I hate you just as much.

Thief.

That mapping systam, man... They show areas you CAN'T access where you are presently. And they put your mission mark on that part, instead of pointing you to that @#$%@#% window you need to get through in order to access your map... I drove me nuts just losing time backtracking and searching.

I know I have a terrible sense of direction, but come on! That's why the map is supposed to help!

Has to be hearthstone. Arena is fun and all, but 99% of the time it inevitabely ends in a third defeat and you're left wondering how much more wins you could've racked up if you hadn't ran into that one guy who clearly got really lucky on the draft (seriously, I've seen arena decks with 2 legendaries and several more epics) or if you didn't get that one terrible opening hand. The silver medal syndrome if you will.

Resonance of Fate. I was almost at the end but I probably never understood something about the combat system because every fight was freaking frustrating. I quit.

Didn't make me quit, but god almighty did that shooting gallery section towards the end of A House Divided really push my rage buttons. Am playing it on PS3 thanks to foolishly buying the first season off PSN to save a couple of bucks over the steam version at the time. Big mistake. Framerate is still choppy, not as bad as episode 1 but still there.

That damn shooting gallery man, there is no feedback to tell you when a shot will hit or miss and you can only miss maybe once. So you wait for them to get as close as possible but I had situations where I waited so long that there was no time to take a second shot after the first missed the head. So why did the first shot miss then if they were one step away from chowing down on little Clem? I lost count of the number of retries I had to do because of that bullshit, waiting and guessing game, and when I finally got through it it felt more like I got lucky than I knew what I had actually been doing. To be totally honest I think it glitched because at least 2 of the walkers appeared to get the miss animation of being hit in the shoulder but then just blinked out of existence. Some kind of feedback to let you know when to time your shots would have been nice but I guess they made it deliberately obtuse to up the play time through repeated attempts.

Loved the rest of the episode though so that carried me through but goddamn I hope they don't put anymore of that sort of BS in the next episodes.

Not really rage quitting but i'm playing Ninja Gaiden 2 on mentor difficulty and i've just reached the second level boss and he has 4 exploding-knife throwing ninja bastards with him...after 3 hours of retrying i went to the shop, got some beer and told myself i was too drunk to carry on and switched games lol. Thats about as close to rage quitting as i get nowadays :)

Its been a while since I ragequit a game. I think my last ragequit was when I was learning to play Yu gi oh on Devpro with my friend, I was on my third of fourth game of it against him.

He won the RPS game and took first turn, he summoned a 4000 attack point monster on his first turn and I had nothing useful. At this point I didn't know how little attack points can matter so I just assumed it was over and quit without doing anything.

EDIT: Actually I have a better one. I recently wasted £25 on Assassins creed black flag for my PS3. I bought it after hearing people say good things about it thinking it would be a decent game since I can usually enjoy Assassins creed games easily enough.

I don't know if its because it was designed for next gen system but on my PS3 it looked awful. It looked worse than some of my old PS2 games, everything about it looked and felt awful but I kept trying. Then on the second real mission I had to follow some guy, I didn't even bother trying I just quit.

Im not going to be able to enjoy that game at all, I didn't even get to the ship combat. Im not sure if it really looks that bad or if I have just gotten so used to PC graphics, it probably doesn't help that I just stopped playing modded Skyrim before trying it.

That would be yesterday on World of Tanks. I was using artillery and my team was getting annihilated. I was already having a bad time using that particular tank, so when I saw three enemy tanks rolling towards where I was I just said fuck this shit and left. I also would count all those time where I left after getting killed, but I would have been sitting there doing fuck all otherwise so I don't count that as rage quitting.

Last night actually, playing Dark Souls.

Did I die? No, well, once in the starting zone. Was it an unpassable section of a maze or some such? No, not really..

So why did I flip my console off in disgust? I just don't get the game or its rabid praise, at all in truth. I understand that people love it, and that is awesome. It's good they have something worthwhile to waste time with, but I just can't be arsed to play more than 20 minutes of it. Which is sad, because if Yahtzee can spare it a good word or two, I am sure I am missing out on something. I just think that "something", is buried behind a forest full of boring.

So yah, maybe not a rage quit. Will you settle for a saddened disgust surrender?

Latest Rage Quit: Several times in Hearthstone. If you are unfamilliar to the nature of TCGs/CCGs, let me explain the scenario: Your starting hand is full of s**t. The cards you draw into is nothing you need nor something you can use in combination with other cards you already have. Meanwhile, your opponent top-decks (drawing the perfect crads/key cards at the right time) and is able to rule the game while you sit there with nothing. Pure raging was engaged when this happend to me 7 times in a row, even if I modified the decks over and over. Nothing but pure rage from the bottom of my heart.

My greatest rage moment: I once decided to try the criticly acclaimed Metroid 3 (aka Super Metroid). During my first attempt, I got stuck in the water cave (or whatever the place was called). The second time, I tried a different route but managed (like many others) to skip the save points and loosing two hours of gameplay. The thid and final time I retried, I felt the rage building up and after being killed in the most unfair way ever possible, the rage began. The guy who lives in the room next to me heard all this rage and went to see what I was raging about. As soon as he opened the door, he quicly managed to dodge the game as it flew through the living room and smashed into the wall while I was yelling "F**K THIS GAME!!!"

Much as I like it, Resonance of Fate.

Got to a point where I had been playing for about half an hour and encountered the same random battle with the same enemies about 10 seconds after fighting one. This happened twice.

Now, I think grinding is still fun if the combat's interesting, which in RoF is kinda is (mileage may vary), but not if it's the same battle with the same setup, same enemies, same area, even standing in the same place.

I've gotten back into World of Tanks recently, which can't be healthy because it raises my blood pressure so much.

Point blank range shot on an enemy tank that literally fills the entire targeting screen with a 90% trained gunner?
Woops, haha, you missed and he killed you!

Enemy tank reduced to 6% health and all you need to do is land one round on him to score the kill?
Uh oh, looks like your gunner started huffing paint and you miss ten consecutive shots in a row only to be destroyed by the cripple you were trying to finish off!

Spend over eighty thousand credits on special APCR ammunition?
"We just dinged them!" "It bounced off!" "We didn't penetrate their armour!"

Trying to defend against an enemy push?
Your friendly tank destroyers ran away at the first shot and left you to be made the ***** of the enemy team's entire compliment of heavy tanks!

Just want to move to a new patch of cover at the beginning of the game?
Your tracks just got blown off by a random artillery shell and now you're being pecked to death by invisible enemies!

Fuck you World of Tanks, you infuriating broken mess of a game.

I stopped playing "Tales of Graces" after a particularly predictable storyline trope showed up. Usually, I can suspend my hatred for such things, so long as the rest of the experience flows naturally from it. However, I had been so tired of the trope from all the anime I'd recently watched, I just turned off the game. I haven't played it in nearly 3 months...

Also, I refuse to play certain fighting games with my friends, for the sakes of our friendships. Whether the advantage is mine (for certain titles) or my friends' (for other titles), it's no fun just going into a match and experiencing a lopsided match for an hour. I much prefer a close competition.

Though not really a rage quit, one of my most heated moments was when I finally beat that old man with the machine gun in Final Fight (the first one). Hearing a kid do Rick Flair's "Woooo!" followed by curses and "that's right, die old man" would have been amusing to see (had anyone been present).

Got Mortal Kombat Komplete on sale, loved every second of the campaign up until Shao Khan. After about 4 hours of attempts, I quit and uninstalled.
