Also- SimCity Societies - ALSO WHAT WAS I THINKING?!
Civ IV - after playing Alpha Centauri, Alpha was WAAAAAY better and bigger.

Another regretful purchase not due to poor game quality: out of a fit of nostalgia I bought a copy of Death Rally from somewhere... just a month off from when they decided to release it for free -_-.

Dante's Inferno. Nothing more but a God of War rip off with tits instead of gameplay. It could've been something good, but no, they probably didn't even read Dante's poem. I'm ashamed to have this in my game collection.

Left 4 Dead 2 Preorder.
I love ALL VALVE GAMES, including L4D2 but due to me living in Australia I got a really-really-really shitty censored version that completely destroyed the atmosphere for me. (There is a way around it but it means sacrificing proper MP.)
I later bought it on a CD key store uncensored for 20 dollars :D.

I regretted buying COD:MW2. The story was shallow, and online gaming is horrid and annoying, I did like the maps though.

I bought Black ops; liked the story,adored the zombie experience,and loved the online gaming, but i got bored with the weaponry and maps pretty fast.

the ironic thing is I want MW2 maps and weaponry with Black ops interface.

Dragon Age 2. I preordered and payed for it waay back for some reason I don't know (seriously, I must have been drunk or temporarily insane), and forgot about it in time to cancel it. It just arrived in my mailbox on release day.

Not particularly happy with buying MW2 either.. only bought it because a friend convinced it was better than it seemed, despite lacking dedicated servers and all that. I played multiplayer for.. maybe 3 hours total?

Regreted buying any FPS/Shooter game in the past 5 or so years. Its such a watered down and uninnovated genre. Honestly it should replace MMOs with rage that people have towards genres, its on the same level of abuse.

wouldn't be so bad if i didn't pay FULL FUCKING RETAIL RELEASE PRICE for a game about mindless stunts and antics. i had no idea i would get bored with the mechanics that damn fast.

Dragon Age: Origins, hands down. I bought it a few days after release for a full price, since it was apparently the second coming of the RPG Jesus Christ, according to the internet and the reviews. What I got, was the worst RPG I played in life (Granted, I'm not even touching bad RPG's like Two Worlds) with lame plot, predictable twists, dull world, unlikeable characters except from Morrigan and Zevran (Wynne is my current holder of 'the worst character-wise NPC companion in RPG's ever' award, beating even Go-To from KotOR II), slow and way too easy combat (cone of cold, kinetic prison, repeat with second mage, Good Fight), with animations that look like ass (seriously, the walking-in-combat animation for female characters is so pathetic, I almost died from laughter the first time I saw it), and the graphic itself that looked like ass.

It's not really that bad game, but my high expectations combined with amount of cash I spent on it ended up with hate-rage that fills me whenever I think about this one. I want my money back.

Incidentally, I bought Dragon Age II few days after the release for a full price, PRECISELY because people were bitching that they changed everything from Origins. They changed everything? Woohoo! Maybe this game will actually be good now! And it was... Until the third act, when the whole story fell apart. Oh well, maybe DA III then, they are on the right track now...

Should be Black ops, but truth is, it's still my most played game for a couple of months. So it would be unfair to say that, I guess, even if it where only 5 euros or so, it has to be Bully Schorlaship Edition on steam sale, I don't mind the game in generel, but it's bugged op the ****
