Liam. No complaints really. Except for growing up Irish class always had a text book with a dorky character named Liam. It's almost like the writers decided "Man, Liam's a hard name to make fun of, it doesn't rhyme with anything like Luke/Puke, it doesn't have a double meaning like John, it doesn't even really sound much like any girl's name... Bullies have nothing to work with here.

Actually my last name's Harris, also a damn hard name to make fun of. I should have been set.

It's a reference to Jack Reacher, commonly referred to as reacher, a fictional character who, like you, was in the armed forces and is the star of a great book series.

OT: I would like my name better if I had a first name to go with it...

Okay, long story short, when I was born, my dad forgot to write down my first name. So I'm running around as Leong Kai Mun, missing the Andrew that's supposed to go in front...

And to make it worse, everyone mispronounces my name. Kai Mun, how hard is that to pronounce?! Why does everyone insist on pronouncing 'Mun" as 'moon'?!

"But it has a 'U' in it!" they cry, "So it has to be pronounced as 'Moon'!" Yeah, two things about that, ONE: I think I know how to pronounce my own damn name. TWO: 'FUN' has a 'U' in it too. How do you pronounce that again?

It's David. And it's fine. I like it I guess but I have never been called anything else. No wait some of my friends called me Charley, due to my middle name being Charles.

It amazed me how many people misspell my name with a second 'h' as in "Johnathan," which I didn't even know was a way to spell to spell it.

Incidentally both are names of Hikers in Pokemon D/P/P. I found it hilarious.

I'm a JR. so my first name's origin is pretty obvious. Most people just called me Daniel, however a lot of people in high school called me by "Fitz", which is what you get when you drop the -gerald off of my last name. I kind of liked it, but only a few people called me Fitz in college. Most of the people who still do are old high school friends I don't see much anymore.

Y'know, that is a nickname that can be heavily misconstrued considering the archaic definition, even if it has gone out of use... :/

OT: I have a rather old fashioned name that I don't share with that many people. Still, I am commonly known as 'Fatso'. Make of that what you will... -_-

My name is Daniel and I like it. As for nicknames; everyone named Daniel in Sweden gets called Danne automatically. We do that with a lot of names.

If I would've been born a girl my name was gonna be Miriam Aila... so it's better than that at least.

Yeah, as it would seem, i am actually named after Friends characters, so i am now called "Joey" by my friends, as well as a few other nicknames like "Jojo", "Azlan", and "Simba" (The last 2 being down to my long, ginger, mane-like hair)

My name is Jonathan. It's very common, and just a warning to parents, having a common name doesn't make you immune to insulting wordplay, it just mjeans they've had more practise.

Full (first) name is Timothy, but I usually make people call me Tim. Once in a while someone (usually female) gets away with calling me 'Timmy' without a glare that would make them want to kill themselves. =D (I'm not very "Timmy-like" in appearance too, so that helps)
