When discussing the (Live Action) Transformers film with friends, I first thought they were on about the animated film. Needless to say they all laughed at me enjoying a children's cartoon film.

My phone now plays the MMPR communicator wrist watch noise whenever I get a text. That's nerdier than my old Megaman 9 stage chosen music.

My phone's text message tone is Gir of Invader Zim, he's singing the Doom song!
Not only is it nerdy and entertaining, but the lyrics are easy to remember to!
Sing it with me!

A few days ago I tried to convince my gf to sit through a couple of hours of the game Eternal Sonata. I felt kind of hopeless when at first she said "This is for preschool kids, honestly, what is the matter with you." But after a while, oddly enough, she really seemed to get into it, she loved the bright artwork and the music. Yesterday she told me she found the game's soundtrack at some torrent site and is downloading it, which did remedy most of that hopeless feeling. Nerds always win in the end, hah!

When I was in the 11th grade, for drama class I performed the opening scene from Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, for a monologue.

And there was the time that I had to do a powerpoint presentation for 5 mins in front of the whole class and I did mine on the history of Game Consoles.

I was and still am really nerdy.
I done a Powerpoint presentation on Consoles once it college, luckily everyone on the course was a gamer so i was not shunned.

My nerdiest moment happens every day, when my friends and i sit in the class and talk about movies and the stories of games...

Nerdy moments?

There's a lot of them.

Probably the fact that I try to force interesting maths down the throat of anyone who'll listen.

I snorted in mid-laugh once.

I put myself through a severe lashing and a session of water boarding, followed immediately by shock therapy.

It won't happen again.

At least you didn't refer to a tiger as Nightsaber for 15 minutes before realizing nobody knew what the hell you were talking about.

In my defence they had been talking about the extinct Sabertooth before.

Well, I know some really un-nerdy people and they poke fun at me every now and then so they once asked me to hum the tune of Halo to which I replied "What, the orchestral version or the mjolnir mix?" That was pretty bad, another time I tried to explain some physics to some really stupid people, didn't end well....

Actually my nerdiest moment was just recent. Last night I found a guy dressed as Han Solo at a McDonald's so I yelled, "Solo! Jabba wants his FREAKING money!"

He then pulled out his toy blaster and fired at me.

I played dead... I never had such a nerdy moment.
...when nerds enter the realm of awesomeness!...

Back when i was in the world of warcraft beta, i talked with my buddy at work about warcraft ... every day... every week.... for a full year.He begged me to stop, but i couldnt help myself and he endeded up changing to the other shift.

Probably when me and my mates were debating the universe. But strangely we actually
started fighting, I think it was because he refused to believe that if there was
nothing in the beggining then the Universe couldn't be formed.

Oh i forgot, when i got a new coworker at work ( this was the time of x-men 2 in the movies)
he made the mistake of asking about that "glow" effect in the lake at the end of the movie, and i explained the whole "Phoenix saga" for him.
Yep all of it Dark Phoenix, Madelyne Pryor, Cable, Red and Sym, Rachel...you name it...i explained it, i had to stop myself when he asked about clones and i started talking about spiderman.... that would have been to much.

oh ive had lots, my two worst/best was when i where on a vacation to Florida whit my kid brother and my uncle, and when they went down to the beach or to a gator farm i took the bus to use the whole day shopping for games and pc equipment instead of experience the sunny state, and my second where when after playing several games i found my self acting as if i where in it, for an example a week after fallout 3 came out i caught my self looking at my right arm every time i should travel a greater distance only to realize i dont own a pip boy.

Nerdiest moment? I have those all the time. I have the CASTLE theme from Super Mario Brothers....I think from when you fight Bowser(phone nowhere near so can't check at the second) and I have a partial Eddie Izzard skit as my text tone(cake or death?) I have the Super Mario Bros version of Nine Inch Nails' song Closer. I constantly update my facebook and twitter status' to whatever game I'm playing and where at I am....I talk video games at swing dancing. Or when I go to the beach. I quote Firefly as often as I can (some people juggle geese). I have Kojima stickers on my car as well as Transformers stickers(my drivers side is with the Autobots and my passenger side is with the Decepticons so my car is at war with itself). I noticed last night at the beach that my legs aren't merely white, they glow. Oh and in the middle of a store.....
My mom and I were shopping and she asked if I wanted cake and I screamed "THE CAKE IS A LIE!!" in the middle of the aisle. That was definitely my defining moment of my mom going *facepalm* "Oh. My. God. I. Can't. Believe. You. Just. Did. That." and "what the hell does that mean?" my mom's not in tune with video games like I am. Oh and my other nerd moment with Portal:
I was talking with someone the other day who's never played Portal and doesn't know crap about video games anyways and one of my friends who has played that I regularly play video games with was with me. Anyways the girl who doesn't have any video game knowledge goes and says something about cake and how we should have some. I immediately jump up(cause we were all sitting down)point accusingly at her and shout "THE CAKE IS A GODDAMNED LIE!!!!!!!" The poor girl was so confused we had to explain it to her. In between him and I cracking up over the fact that I did that.
and my friend talking about a cake he got for his birthday he was telling me how delicious it was so I started singing "....this cake is great its so delicious and moist.....the cake is a lie.....now these points of data make a beautiful line and we're out of data....."
I know it jumps around in the song that way but.....and he started cracking up cause he got it.*sigh* i might need some non gamer non nerd friends.....haha
Oh and I can't forget international talk like a Pirate day from 07....Me, one of my direct co-workers(Female), and a friend who worked on Pirates of the Carribean(boy) all of us working at Disneyland went from Toontown to Fantasyland to Main Street to Adventureland to New Orleans Square sword fighting with the plastic pirate swords that they sell.....And we were talking like pirates, dressed like pirates, and yelling insults at each other the whole time like pirates....

I was doing a safety test in Woodwork class, when there was a picture of a first-aid kit, with the question, "What is this and where would you find it?"

Naturally I wrote, "It's a HP power-up, you would find it before a boss fight."

And my many attemps to explain LANing to the non-gamer population and that, yes, I do move my computer to other peoples houses.

I went on a thread on this forum called 'Your favourite computer environment'.

I answered with: "A Programming Environment".
