Please don't shun me for this, but in middle school, my ex gave me a Naruto headband, and I haven't the heart to toss it...
Is that nerdy, or is that just being oddly sentimental?

Lets see -
I have an atari 2600 that I still play, as well as a Commodore 64, I am a computer programmer (no I don't do games, but I'm working on my own), I can play three musical instruments (and working on at least one more), I have every Discworld Novel (including the ones with pictures and some of the side stuff), I have read (almost, on the last one) a fantasy series more than once that is based on a role-playing game the author played, I have more than 10 video game systems, all of which I play, for which I've got altogether over 300 games, I do math and logic puzzles for fun... uh... I post on forums when I should be working.

I think,to date Desent [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_(video_game)] has the best game soundtrack. (MIDI owns you)
I always liked GURPS better than D&D because it offered more chance for character role-play and less incessant dice-rolling. You could actually play as a person.

And yes, Descent is a game I'll still play. Great stuff, great stuff.

-My record for not stepping outta the house was just over 4 months.
-Programmed my first hello world program when i was 11. ( It was in pascal )
-I win algorithm contests for my school :O
-Whenever i go out I carry my laptop around with me and i'd suggest to my friends that we order starbucks coffee using the pseudo intellectual term 'Venti' while i start up my comp and jump on the free wifi.
-After playing D&D for a few sessions when i was like 8, i started designing my own version of RP games and i actually DMed it daily for my friends at school, and we'd just play it through class, break and meet together at my place after school to play it. NOT KIDDING. ( I'm 17 this year so that's 9 years ago, 2000 )

Although I look only slightly geeky at best. When my friends meet me they mainly describe me as some form of weird, geek/indie person. ( I use an ipod touch... NO NOT THE FACE )

I wear glasses, I RP a whole bunch whenever possible (but no LARP'ing), I constantly craft new RP boards on www.invisionfree.com, and I can recite half of the major speeches from LOTR...on top of that, I tend to go on long rants about original games like Psychonauts or Okami, and can be found on my computer for a good portion of the day.

Hmmmm, nerdiest thing . . . Well for me its more about my nerdiest days, which are Monday and Wednesdays // They are my gaming days and from pretty much the moment I wake up till I fall asleep I'm play out my characters /// On Monday we play Discworld gurps, Im an Egor, and Wed's its SLA

Long before we even start rollin dice we are in our characters, which kinda freaks the people around us on the bus a little, which is half the fun

Large glasses
Several types of dictionaries in my room
I read Edgar Allan Poe and know all 18 stanzas of The Raven by heart - and I generally read more than those around me
Have written three novels in under one year

I'm really more of a literary geek than a typical geek, as I don't have any special computer knowledge
Edit: And I am currently sewing a model of colossus #3 from SotC

well, gaming forums. I'm not really a nerd or a geek. I'm not really anything. I do some nerdy things but they seem to balanced out by my non-nerdy things.

Let's see how many nerdy things I can list about me.

*I waited in line for 9 hours at the local Wal-Mart for the Nintendo Wii and a copy of Twilight Princess.
*I've played (and enjoyed) Dungeons and Dragons
*I've obsessed over a fictional character who appears in only one game for over two years now (Guess who)
*I started and finished a playthrough of Ocarina of Time last November because it was the ten-year anniversery of the game
*I know the Main Theme to Super Smash Bros. Brawl by heart
*I (occasionally) write reviews for games on the other message board I post at

I'll probably think of more later.

My nerd/geek list would be as followed...

- I have actively roleplayed for five years now, although am currently on a near seven month hiatus (sites I hang around have all gone downhill)
- I use to run my own roleplaying site.
- I hang on a relationship advice board on GameFAQS, although have yet to ask for any advice myself
- I own the show Friends on DVD, all seasons which I have watched in their entirety five times, commentary and all. This does not include random episodes or when I use to watch it on TV. So certain episodes I have see upwards of ten times.
- Continuing with Friends, I know the series to such an extent I can call off a fair amount of episodes by name and can pinpoint where portions are cut from TV for commercials. I also know most of the side characters, middle names and etc.
- I own and have watched the entire series of Dawson's Creek twice (once on TV and once on DVD)
- I have likely spent close to or more then three thousnad hours on Halo 2 over the course of three years. Halo 3 has only added to that.
- I have completed Lunar: SSSC eleven times and started an estimated thirty files overall.
- Continuing with the above, I have finished FFX seven times (three times in the same year) with at least fifteen files overall, Suikoden is now six with about fifteen to twenty files overall and Legend of Dragoon is four, no extra incomplete files.
- I know the aforementioned games so well I have memorized a fair amount of the dialogue.
- I played and completed Final Fantasy X-2 with 99% completion and would have had 100% had I not skipped a scene or some such, on my first file. (With a guide of course)
- I have well beyond two hundred anime pictures sized on my computer. I use them for roleplay characters however I save everything I find appealing despite knowing it will never be used.
- I have not slept the recommended amount of hours daily in five years (I usually sleep four to six, although two to three is common and until a few months ago, I often skipped sleeping entirely. My record stands at ten hours for an entire week.)
- I currently have my PC and TV setup so I can watch/use them both at once.
- I have used the split screen feature on my TV (and PC once) to watch three hockey games at once.

Good enough list I suppose, massive nerd/geek but what can be done? :p
