Not me, I'll be waiting to see if they have tidied up some of the interface and control issues. Ick. I love Day Z but it I feel like I'm always fighting the actual software. I don't mind it being hard, but clumsy and unintuitive I could do without.

I'm keeping a close watch on X-Com, but I'm not quite convinced, and I read in interview with Arkane about Dishonoured where they invoked the name of Looking Glass so that is a big tick in its favor, but I'm not there yet. Other than those, I'll be downloading Planetside 2 as soon as it goes gold, but there is absolutely no risk there.

None whatsoever. I've become very cynical of what trailers and such tell me beforehand. The last game I did buy on day one was Dragon's Dogma, and I haven't regretted it so far. The game before that though, ME3...well you all know about the shitstorm that caused. I decided I wouldn't buy it full price, and later bought it second hand without DLC, mostly to play multiplayer. (It had an unused code) And I'm glad I did.

Usually I buy any game I'm interested in on day 1, or at least as early possible.

So... Kingdom Hearts 3D, I suppose.

I never get anything on Launch Day. However, for Christmas, I will definitely get a Black WiiU, and hopefully 2 of 4 games I want. Here they are based on how much I really want them:

- ZombiU (This is a must!)

- Pikmin 3 (I only played Pikmin for the Wii, and it wasn't as fun as it could be. However, seeing gameplay footage for Pikmin 2 looks amazing, and the new Pikmin in Pikmin 3 are enough to make me want it)

- New Super Mario Bros. U (I'll admit, this is the first Mario title I'm not completely excited about, mostly because I feel like it's a desperate attempt to sell units. However, it's a Mario Game, and NSMB and NSMBWii were fun, so this has gotta be fun too!)

- Nintendo Land (Only want if it is a package title. Beyond that, I don't care for it)

Well I've got Torchlight 2 pre-ordered so I guess that counts. I might put $60 down for Borderlands 2 but I'm not sure if I'll get it at full price yet.

MechWarrior Online would be the next one, tough you can't really call it purchase since it is a F2P game.
Guild Wars 2 does not count since I have already bought it, and X-Rebirth is later this year... if its even 2012.

So... if one was very strict about the criterias one could say there is no day one purchase left this year

I plan on picking up the Guild Wars 2 Collector's Edition when it comes out on the 26th. I was going to get Spec Ops on the same day as well but I cancelled my pre-order for it.

Gravity Rush WAS my next day one purchase...but luckily I got it a week early. Look forward to getting the DLC when the game "officially" releases tomorrow.

The only up and coming games that I can think of for day one purchases would be Ragnarok Odyssey, and maybe Dark Souls PC...if it doesn't turn out to be a shoddy port.

Other than that: I've preordered T2, GW2, and Borderlands 2, so I'm pretty well stocked.

I've also got Lollipop Chainsaw pre-ordered for tomorrow, and GW2 Collector's Edition, whenever that comes out.

Bioshock: Infinite is the only thing in the forseeable future that looks like it's worth a Day-1 purchase.
Although, Doom 3: BFG Edition might earn one, depending on what pre-order bonuses it has.
